Extraterrestrial civilizations with a 10,000 year existence?

One of the suggestions for those super-technological UFOs spotted by the Navy pilots a few years ago (and still) is that the things may represent aircraft from an advanced alien [ET] species that has a multi-eon advantage on us (humanity); that is, the flying artifacts represent aircraft derived by extraterrestrials who are visiting here from cosmic civilizations many years in existence.

Some suggest a 100 or 200 year leg up on Earth’s civi- lizations, which is okay with me, and a possibility.

But then some go further, speculating that ETs may be coming here from civilizations thousands of years ahead of us, even, perhaps, a million years in existence.

(A recent video I saw offered the so-called Silurian Hypothesis –   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silurian_hypothesis -- an idea that I find amenable for a possible past existence of societal creations here on Earth and maybe Mars, even Venus).

However, a million year or even a 10,000 year old civilization on a planet elsewhere in the cosmos derides the entropic experience – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropy -- of all things.

No civilization on Earth, no societal enterprise existed beyond a few thousand years – https://www.ancienthistorylists.com/ancient-civilizations/10-oldest-ancient-civilizations-ever-existed/.

Even a speculated civilization – no matter how advanced it had become – can escape the process (societal and otherwise) of entropy.

Living and dead things are all subject to entropy, even a so-called advanced civilization reputed to be flying UFOs overhead and in our seas for millennia. The idea is preposterous and neurotically induced by persons with problems relevant to psychiatry.

Yet, the idea persists.

  • The Krell Hypothesis: advanced civilizations will face a crunch-time they can't survive. If the limit to their rise and fall is x-thousand years, then that makes an interesting interpretation of the Fermi Paradox: those who could have visited us, never made it out of the bus station. So our visitors (or co-inhabitors) must be a one-off, still very young and very un-god-like.

I'd like to get a look at the Encyclopedia Galactica that explains the whole deal.

  • I could envisage a species a hundred or two hundred years longer in existence than we, who, like us, wonder what the purpose of their existence is, and go in search of an answer -- within the galaxy.

But any thinking species would have to know that they are prey of entropy and would do better to try to reverse that inevitability.

Can entropy be reversed? That would be as great as or greater than immortality; it would insure immortality -- of society, of all things.

A few hundred years further than us species might not be that wise but a species of a larger
duration -- something longer than that of Earth's long-lived societies/cultures -- would do better to halt entropy than skim around the Universe in search o tourist attractions.

"The Krell Hypothesis" is in effect now, on Earth, humankind existing hedonistically knowing there is no tomorrow.

This would explain the idiocy of the people I keep bemoaning about -- the "lower classes" whose value to "evolution" is non-existent.

All members of Facebook, me included, and Reddit and Twitter and Instagram and so-on-and-so forth, to use John Greenewald's favorite phraseology, could be wiped from the Earth and that would not be a monumental loss...

  • Another entity that might not survive. I haven't read the article yet, but consider the source:
