UFO Conjectures

Why would David Grusch ….

… exert so much energy offering his disclosures for podcadsters like Jesse Michels, Joe Rogan, or Chris Lehto?

You know that I like those three “influencers” but Grusch offered startling even profound information and chooses to expand upon it at venues without academic or scholarly cachet?

His appearances on podcasts bordering the societal fringe of respectability seem tawdry and ill-considered.

It has taken the shine off his alleged insider information.

Sure, he wants to get his secret-oriented material in front of the public, but the public he’s chosen to do that for is the rabble – the uninformed, non-intellectual unwashed masses.

(I’ve asked readers here to pay attention to the sidebars of live YouTube presentations where viewers and members of the You- Tuber’s offering show up for comment in real-time. The remarks are imbecilic and ignorant, en masse. This is the audience for the podcasters noted above.)

Grusch has demoted his message by his association with people I like, Michels a well-read person who is popular among the UFO fringe, as is Joe Rogan and Chris Lehto but those three won’t be getting invitations to membership clubs for the well-connected academicians any time soon. Really brilliant men and women scorn such social media quidnuncs.

Grusch is without class or refinement, as are the three fellows I often point to here, which puts me in that circle too I guess.

But, for me. Podcasters, like Substackers and bloggers (ahem) are generally anathema to sophisticated persons, who choose their influences a bit more carefully.

Once you dip your toe into UFO waters (and now UAP sludge), you are doomed to the edge of respectability where Diana Pasulka now finds herself, alongside Jacques Vallee and the whole raft of once-respected academicians who’ve lost their intellectual veneer by hobnobbing with the outer edge of the lower classes – and those I’m referring to are, indeed, the lower classes.

Need I make the case for that view again, here?

The problem being, if he presented his material to the informed, intellectual, upper-crust academics, the vast majority would not believe one word of it, no matter how well documented. Anything more than one arc second outside their view of reality simply does not exist. Grusch would have more success talking to a wall.
