  • Tim:

    I have four new blogs, one for reviews of new academic books and the others for views that are not UFO related in any way and can't be made to be so (as I try here).

    So, I decided to reposition this blog to take a less speculative stance, one with a more moderate, relaxed view of things.

    I'll still rail about ufology's shortcomings and I'm gonna try to continue to be conjectural but in a more contemplative mood.

    (I had to pick a word to fit the Blogger URL -- ufocon -- so I chose contemplative over controversy since, with me, there is no controversy about UFOs; they are not ET driven.

  • I changed the name from The UFO Iconoclasts to UFO Conjectures after we lost some "colleagues" because of their damnable behavior in the Roswell Slides debacle.

    Name changes don't accrue Joe Public interest, not here anyway.

    My readers barely pay attention.
