Was there sentient life on Mars, once?

Chapter 19 [Page 175 ff.], Ancient Martian Civilization Was Wiped Out tells readers what happened to the Martian peoples.
I’m finding, on Facebook – and I apologize for that source, but there are select groups there that are splendid – many people who are slogging through NASA’s online input of photos gathered by the rovers roaming the Martian landscape.
These Martian aficionados have recovered many kinds of images that, aside from the hackneyed explanation of pareidolia (the scientific term for the perception of familiar objects in random images), the “searchers” have found some fascinating artifacts that reasonably indicate the remnants of previous societal existence.
One can make fun of the idea that Mars once had abundant
sentient life, but “evidence” for such life is circumstantially present among
the debris being gathered by intrepid searchers of that NASA imagery.

One caveat for me is why would life develop on two minor
planets at the outskirts of our galaxy? It’s odd, and intellectually
off-putting, but there it is.

You know, of course, the last two images show after-impact of the heat shield of the U.S. Opportunity Mars lander. I'm in awe at the audacity of anyone trying to push this as otherwise, or the stupidity of anyone buying into it. Hoagland's Children.
Mars probes are targeted for the safest spots to land, not necessarily the most promising life-bearing. It's hard to believe sentient life developed there (despite Redfern's take), but there's a lot of territory left to explore. Bradbury's Children.

Yah, I had some hesitancy about putting the metal piece in the posting, and my computer protested too, but I wanted to show how diligent the NASA searchers are for their scans of the photos, missing little that is unusual.
But you know, Ron. I'm a fan of a previous habitation on the red planet, only iffy because it seems odd to me that life would spurt up here in this bailiwick of the Galaxy or the cosmos. However, the conditions for life may have been conducive for life to form in this backwater, a once in a lifetime occurrence.

Mars generates controversy: 1) An adjunct to the panspermia theory suggests that life originated there and came to Earth via meteor. That would make us the Martians. 2) Questions remain whether we discovered Martian chemistry in the soil during the '70s or microscopic life in a Martian meteorite in the '90s. Odds remain slim finding a sculpture of Dejah Thoris, but anything short of that would still be wonderous. (And would put us, unfortunately, on the wrong side of The Great Filter.)

Well, could anyone be blamed for wondering, if the survivors of Mars, came to earth to start all over again, OR to join up with what was already here. So here we are, of different nationalities!?..
And where did all the water, that Mars once had; where did it go? What happened to it?
Why have the oceans of earth, risen some 400ft. over and above ancient cities and artifacts? Yes, I am aware of the melted ice, from the ice-age, but 400ft. world wide?......? In the Bible, as I recall; It rained for 40 days & 40 nights.
Where did that come from? (Over a month of rain!?)..
Back to the artifacts on Mars, that NASA has photographed, Well, they are a so-called
time-capsules, aren't they!? Of a long forgotten past.They are not there, without good reason,that suggests a massive disaster took place on Mars "long ago" changing it for ever, as to what we understand it to be today; Very cold, & uninhabitable, to what it once may have been....somewhat like earth..
I remember some time back of a scientist; (can't remember his name now) talking about, two huge atomic explosions,had taken place,in the past on Mars,that had been detected.
Maybe,this is why certain parties, don't want to see this take place again, here on earth, knowing what happened to Mars..
If correct,this would explain much of Mars past history.Like I say,Mars artifacts,are like time-capsules,a reason for why NASA is able to photograph them. They didn't get there, by themselves,they weren't planted there!? They are remanences of Mars massive disaster in history, for what it's worth, and a wake-up call, for the reast of us, if we understand the implication..........

Nick's chapter I noted talks about those scientists who suggested a nuclear holocaust on Mars, supported by atomic residue that has been found there by rover examination.
Nick's book is full of much generally unknown info, as usual with his writing.

NASA never seems to listen to public opinion or respond to reasonable claims about evidence of an ancient civilization on Mars. Most of the artefacts seen can easily be dismissed, but I have been troubled by the 'statue' of a lady seemingly perched on the edge of a rock outcropping. The figure reminds me of stone and marble women figures seen "weeping" or in grief in cemeteries. NASA will never take a close look at the figure, or if NASA already has done so at some point, it goes without saying that any proofs of ancient civilizations on Mars would be censored
