Good work to John and the other FOIA diggers, who provide a glimpse of how hand's-on the government has been in tracking and recording these objects. Gov has to know what they're dealing with -- but the question remains whether they know what to do with that information.
I refuse to believe these are breadcrumbs of information designed to lead the way to disclosure. It's more like a pressure-release valve when the story gets too hot.
