Interesting but almost all of the questions concerning this case could be answered by the release of the other FIVE photographs allegedly taken that day. Thirty-three years ago and we still can't see all 6 photos? Something smells.
As the photographer indicates, the Calvine photo was of a secret project, The Aurora, which would account for the non-release of the other photos or more info.
The Aurora? Hovering over a lake in Scotland? With a near-silent technology? Still don't know the names of the photographers; still don't know the exact location; still have not seen the other 5 photos for comparison. I just don't buy this story...never did. And it is not the "clearest" UFO photo ever. Heflin's polaroids are just as clear (and closer with a better story) and the Meier wood-cut photo is the clearest ever (allegedly) taken.
Of course. That was a photo "analysis" of the one photo using the latest AI softward. All of the other remarks listed above are speculations or omissions (some very serious) concerning that alleged thing in the sky and how it came to be photographed. That's emphatically NOT "analysis." Show me anything in the literature that even suggests that "Aurora" (if it exists at all) can hover or accelerate soundlessly?
You can't get anything from me: I think Calvine is a photo of that rock in the water....
Like with almost every UFO photo and even accounts or reports, there is something that smells off.
I have never (or rarely) read any UFO tale that is not complicated by some odd, out of place, detail.
The Calvine photo is one of those. Not to reveal what took place until 2076 or whatever that far away date is, but to let David Clarke in on some of it, baffles me.
You and I agree...and I said so at the time we were having the debate here: It's a rock. That's why the entire story is so sketchy and that's why we never see the other alleged photos. 2076? Well neither you nor I will be here to get the final version of this tale.
