Patterson Film...Is the Genie Out of the Bottle?
Enhancement of the Patterson film provides more info that seems to suggest that the thing filmed is really a true image of a Sas- quatch or Big Foot.
Those interested might offer a take on the video.

Several takeaways from this. I've followed the Yeti/Sasquatch stories for almost as long as UFOs.
M.K. Davis has been known to throw out some wild theories about Sasquatch, the Patterson film in particular, so take everything he says with a grain of salt.
Davis seems to think this new enhancement technique is bringing out detail that's already there, but an argument can be made that the old camera film and lens had a limit of what it could pick up, so it'sdigital fiddling that's adding what it "thinks" is there. Those could be artifacts that don't really exist. This is a new version of an old problem.
I've always thought the Patterson-Gimlin film was likely that of the real thing -- well, 75/25% anyway. This looks like an over-enhanced film frame, and even Davis admits to the filtering. But it's still very striking, as are the frame sections of forest that the inventor has also enhanced; it would be great if it was real. Let's see what comes of it.
The obvious question for us here is what can this technology do for old UFO photos/videos in the public realm? That could be fun.
Does the Pentagon have this kind of technology? A moot question if Grusch's tale of bodies and discs on hand is true.

Wow. Not sure how you get that kind of enhancement on the eye, however.

Dominick, yeah, the eye is definitely "enhancement." I imagine the completed film will be stunning, fictionalized, but stunning.

If the film ends up being a concoction by Patterson - with a costumed confederate -- a hoax -- it's a damn good one.
And I enjoy an exquisite hoax.
But I've always felt that the thing filmed is authentic....it's the breasts mostly for me.

Davis has always pushed for BF being more human than animal, so it's not surprising he's making this a big deal. Caution is called for.
I'd like to see what this tech can do for the Freeman footage, which is probably the second-best video capture ever.

Yes, there are limits to image enhancement based on the camera system characteristics. I understand Samsung phones(?) Are now filling in the details of the moon for you (far beyond the capabilities of the imaging system) if the software decides the moon is in the picture. I guess that's a feature.
