Wow. I had no idea that the Hills were friendly (before the alleged abduction) with near-spooks and AF people from Pease. Sheds a slightly different light on events, doesn't it. I don't recall John Fuller telling us any of this in his classic book on the subject. Hmm.

It wouldn't shock me to find out how deeply and widely penetrated the whole UFO subject has been by the government. Or that many of the classic cases have been misreported/misinterpreted by bad reporters, and those with an agenda. Is such a skewed perspective accurate? If so it throws into question what the whole UFO matter has actually been about.

Betty gave an informal lecture in Pease AFB library that I and my wife attended in 1975. Must have been a dozen or so attending -very informal library event.

She spoke some of her experience some but mostly of her having a group of UFO interested and active members and her/their belief that more UFO activity was ongoing -but there were never any reports of UFOs I heard about while flying there with constant alert briefings...and no spooks -but there "may have been nukes".
