The 2014 Chilian UFO that resembled the 2004 Tic-Tac UFO
History Channel's Ancient Alien show Saturday night [2/8/20] studied the 2014 UFO that the Chili military disclosed in 2017.

The UFO, filmed by a Chilian Naval helicopter crew, looked remarkably like the 2004 Tic-Tac UFO encountered by U.S. Naval pilots.
The "analysis" of the Chilian "object" showed the UFO expelling an exhaust that only registered via infrared filters.
Other determinations, using various technical methods, disclosed strange enhancements of the thing captured by the Chilian heli- copter crew: it's apparent configuration inside the aura it displayed and the temperature deviations around and "within" the thing.
This is the kind of thing that UFO researchers should be doing and the only group doing so seems to be Christopher O'Brien's team, which I hope has the kinds of equipment and devices to detect such details that the History show employed, via an image analyzer.

So...the 2014 "Tic-Tac" UFO resembles the 2004 Tic-Tac UFO...stop the presses!
And in related news, "objects" seen in Renaissance-era paintings appear similar to the "flying shields" mentioned by the ancient Romans. We definitely need to get Emperor Charlemagne to investigate the insidious humours and vapours expelled by these damnable Sky Daemons!
Is this just a classic case of "The more things change, the more they remain the same?"
All we ever seem to get from glimpses behind the curtain like this--and have been getting from encounters like this over the centuries--are tantalizing little fragments of a phenomenon that we apparently cannot comprehend and have not even begun to understand in any meaningful way, unless, of course, the whole "flying saucer"/flying breath freshener thing is completely explainable as mis-identification of meteorological processes, swamp gas, sun dogs, folks misinterpreting sightings of conventional aircraft, classified and experimental flying devices that the general Public has not been made aware of, etc.
I am thinking that modern post-World War Two governments and militaries have pretty much given up on explaining, figuring out, or even dealing with in any meaningful sort of way, this bedeviling and persistent "UFO" intrusion into our cultural psyches.
Why should they bother? I mean, the pesky things haven't landed on The White House lawn or tried to invade Cleveland yet and are not shooting down our satellites and airliners and blowing the crap out of our infrastructure with platform-mounted death rays ala "War Of The Worlds," and "they" haven't after all of these centuries...so why would whatever in the heck it is that people have been seeing lo, these many centuries, suddenly begin to assume the role of ET Invader skying around in solid NutzenBoltz spacecraft when it is so blatantly obvious that this is NOT what is going on?
If I was a 5 star general in The Pentagon, busy with a series of Forever Wars in those pesky but resource rich Middle Eastern and Asian countries, I know I probably would not be too concerned about some random lights in the sky that people have been seeing since forever. It is more than likely that General Oily with all of his insider info and security clearances and military experience does not know any more about what is going on in this regard than you or I or...Emperor Charlemagne...

No matter what view one takes about UFOs, this is an interesting "coincidence."

yep, RR guy, you are correct, it is indeed an interesting coincidence...and I am aware of the irony of these "Tic-Tac" thingies--seeing as how they have been filmed, probed by sensors, and analyzed by highly-trained professionals in the Modern High Tech Era--coming across as physical "craft," thus reinforcing the whole ET/"nuts and bolts" school of thought...and I am open to the possibility that they are advanced craft of "ours" that Joe Average Citizen has not been told about...but, boy, if they are ours, man, do we have some cool advanced toys that they are keeping from us! ;)

Yah, and Zeke, that they'd or anyone else is keeping such advanced technology or craft hidden away makes us all crazy.
It's our money (taxes) that allowed for the creation of such wonders, and why we can't insist on knowing about the things -- national security baloney aside -- is sickening.
