ETs and their lack of aesthetics or joy
Copyright 2018, InterAmerica, Inc.
I’ve touched on the lack of music, art, or literature
evidence being observed by UFO witnesses who report (think) they’ve had contact
with extraterrestrials.
Betty Hill almost absconded with an ET book when she and her
husband Barney were allegedly kidnapped by aliens in 1961. (And while many
decry her account, I give her the benefit of the “truth.” I wish she had been
able to keep that book.)
Setting aside Mrs. Hill’s tale as an hallucinatory escapade,
what about other so-called UFO encounters where ETs were interacted with or the
inside of ET UFOs (flying saucers) were supposedly seen?
In every account I can recall (or look up), there is no
account of music (as we know it), just some whirring noises and never a placard
or work of art (as we know that too.)
That’s why the Socorro symbol/insignia fascinates me: if
Officer Zamora’s craft was from outer space, that marking on it would be a sign
of some kind of attempt to communicate via an ‘artistic” thrust.
But in all the accounts of flying saucers, fraudulent or
“real,” there are no art works or music noted.
Does this mean that witnesses were devoid of recognizing
something that might pass for music or art?
Or does it mean that ETs are lacking in aesthetic
appreciation?
(Of course, I don’t think UFOs are ET craft in a movie
film-generated way or that ETs are visiting or have visited Earth in the
numbers, if at all, that UFO reports indicate.)
But, for the sake of argument, let me assume that ET
believers have it right. Why don’t their ETs have visible or auditory aesthetic
accoutrements about them?
Humans love to display indications of communication like
symbols or, culturally, art and humans love to sing.
I recently cut the cable cord and find myself viewing lots
of YouTube videos, even sharing a few myself on that Alphabet service. And I’ve
discovered how joyful humans are. There is a “flash mob” from 2012 of Russians
near the Volga, celebrating a wedding where the mob, bystanders and pros,
including Army troops, dance to Puttin’ on the Ritz and there are dozens
of people in flash mobs or just participating in the streets, dancing to the
music from Zorba, the Greek (where Alan Bates and Anthony Quinn end the
movie). And they are beyond joyful.
Has any UFO witness, even a “contactee,” seen ETs that
evince joy?
There is something wrong in the witness accounts of
extraterrestrial behavior. The alleged observed ETs are dour and without
emotion, often interacting with humans like psychotics from the (human) id,
which adds fuel to Jose Caravaca’s “external agent” in his elaborate Distortion
Theory.
No, if ETs were actually visiting Earth and emotion was part
of their psychical make-up, they would show joy or rapture at the beauty,
diversity, and happiness of human beings.

If early stories, movies and accounts had included these type of artistic things in the possession of visiting aliens then they may have become a common part of modern reports, as common as the stencilled details that are already such a common part of them (appearance of the aliens, their craft and banal messages).
Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe the controlled reduction of art like in the book 'Brave New World' by Aldous Huxley - the reduction of such artistic things to the point of their disappearance is a common part of the advances which finally lead to the time when a species begins travelling across endless space to investigate stars and galaxies which for so long seemed so distant as to be beyond visitation by that species.
Cosmic, man.

An interesting speculation, but which species type, might we be talking about?
There is a wide variety of species, something like 57 recorded by the military and three or four species that regularly visit Earth.
The Tall-Whites, (Humans, that look us) The Greys, & Reptilians.
The Greys & Reptilians are devoid of Emotion, & likely other species the same!?
I don't know this, but this is what I hear. The "Humans" that look like us, are said; The ladies like to go shopping for cloths etc. We might assume they like music & art, as well, because they are Human, but from else where. Surely you've heard they are down here amongst us!? I don't know, I've never seen one, but I sure hear the talk. I've heard some years ago, that some extraterrestrials like to hear the sound of the Universe! I take it, that it means the transformed electrical signals, of the Universe. Maybe that's how they found Earth. Now if you find this hard to believe, that fine with me, I want Disclosure of this reality, the same as the next person, wouldn't that be a surprise to some?.............

Any reports of artists encountering aliens? The aliens seem to prefer naive subjects (which may suggest that, like humans who do so, they are either scientists or trial lawyers, rather than in the humanities or the arts).
Reminds me of a Far Side cartoon: An alien (we would call reptilian) is in an alley with a couple of tough guys. The alien is dressed in an overcoat and a slouch hat and is wearing a human face mask. The alien says to the toughs:
Yes...I...would...like...a...knuc...cle
...sand...wich.

I've posted, in the past, here and elsewhere, Don, that no culturally famous persons have reported UFOs, artists included, but I read recently that Goethe had a sighting of something UFO like.

A similar observation was made in a science-fiction film course I took years ago:
Do production designers really think our future or ET and their worlds will be so sterile and featureless or do designers simply lack imaginations and budgets? ;-D
Why is the Hills' fantastic abduction story so cinematic?
Because every bit of it is based in a very popular Technicolor "all a dream" movie that was "dreamed" and "remembered" by Betty, and then enhanced and refined by the couple adding details from television in repeated retellings over several years.
The only question is why it took nearly thirty years for someone to point this out!
