UFO Conjectures

UFOs are now mostly seen as Triangular?

Copyright 2019, InterAmerica, Inc.
The MUFON UFO books noted here recently are generally interesting, but primarily statistically oriented.

The 2018 book, compiling sightings from 2017, provides the usual sightings of lights and seeming objects, with something slightly odd about the witness descriptions.

While orbs, disc-shaped “objects,” and spheres were reported, the largest reported shape category was triangles.

Triangular UFOs make up the bulk of described sightings, showing up in witness drawings more than any other shape.
And those triangular UFOs made appearances in the winter months subsiding during the summer season only to resume in the Fall of 2017, accompanied also by chevron-shaped UFOs during the colder climes.

Why have triangular-shaped UFOs replaced saucer-shaped or disc-shaped UFOs among observers?

Is that significant? MUFON doesn’t speculate; that’s left to us.

    I share for what it's worth; and remember a video sometime back when, a while back;

The "triangular-shaped UFOs" and there have been many witnesses, are thought to be "earth manufactured" In other words, Human occupied! How accurate, that is, have no idea! Trying to remember which video I watched, out of "MANY" of them.So many factions to the UFO story, sitting here thinking.........?

  • The ET proponents also ignore plausible conjectures about the machines:

Perhaps the craft have redundancies in their design that render them “crash-proof,” making 2 above unnecessary. Perhaps they are programmed to immediately traverse space to hover over the nearest large body of water if their engines/field generators even hint at failure. This is backed up by the fact that many times they have been spotted loitering over reservoirs and lakes—in several cases taking in water by way of “hoses”. There also is a long history of one or more–sometimes a dozen–helicopters seen in the vicinity of these vehicles.

And before anyone piles onto this accounting of the situation, please read David Marler’s monographs “Triangular Ufos”. All the incidental details I’ve mentioned come from that book, and he’s the “expert”, if there can be such a thing.

  • And here’s a blog entry I wrote a while ago comparing the flying triangle mystery to the airship waves of 1896-7. There are indeed some strange parallels between the two.

  • Hi Rich—
That’s cool with me. I have a lot of postings on that blog re: ufos and “ufology”, whatever the latter means at this point, which is not much.
    Cheers

  • Three possible explanations come to mind:

    (1) Another group of aliens is now predominantly involved, who use a different technology, which primarily utilizes the triangular shape. There were signs of this coming with cases like the Belgian giant triangle UFO wave.

    (2) The collective unconscious, the "zeitgeist" and its manifestations in collective hallucinations, has changed with respect to UFOs. Now, rather than saucers, giant triangles reflect fears triggered by images like the B2 bomber and stealth drones. Big brother watching and threatening.

    (3) A combination of these two.

  • Thanks, David...

But isn't the Belgian Wave considered a hoax?

Or was it mistaken observations of U.S. aircraft?

  • The usual Americanocentric viewpoint. Since an American organization, MUFON, that by the way has a bad track record in regards to transparency, puts out a commercial product proclaiming the majority of ufo sightings involve triangular objects - of course another American projects this subjective outlook to the canvas of the world - and suddenly triangular objects are a thing. If there is any toxicity to ufology it is the current American injection into the phenomenon.

    Best,
