The Uncivility of UFOers

Copyright 2020, InterAmerica, Inc.
The passivity of visitors/readers here isn’t surprising. But the rudeness of some is.

Theo Paijmans [Theo163 online], for instance, is irritated because I’ve often not accepted his critical musings, but when I asked him to provide what he found out when he “vetted” Albert Rosales’ humanoid listings (found at Albert’s web-site and in his Humanoid series of books often noted here), no response was forthcoming.

Dvelys posted a comment, not long ago, about practices to stimulate the mind and I offered to provide some current thinking about the dangers of meditation. No response from Dvelys, who is scouring the internet for fringers who provide sustenance to Dvelys’s obscure predilections.

A former friend who has become a sh*t sent a comment in response to my noting that persons who visit here merely lurk by telling me that 'bots are not persons". What am I to do with that non-sequitur response?

Tim Hebert is surprised that I’ve taken to compliments about Facebook – which is hardly true – although I do acknowledge that while there is a lot of dreck – a heavy load of it – all over Facebook, the UFO crowd there is generally robust and polite among themselves.

The UFO community at Facebook often responds to comrades’ UFO filings and posts, offering support or addenda that is helpful or pertinent.

Yes, there is a lot of hooey, but it’s proffered humorously. Nothing like that is found at UFO blogs or web-sites, mostly filled with commentary or retorts that are either sycophantic or mooshy. [See my pal Kevn Randle’s blog for examples.]

Here I have gotten requests to expand upon, with links and sources, some of my posterings, and I do, but there are no replies from those requesting such.

Anthony Bragalia likes it when I link to his UFO utterances. But when persons comment about his postings I’ve listed, Tony chooses to ignore their questions or rebukes.

Terry the Censor -- from Canada, where one experiences civility generally -- often asks for more info on a posting here. I provide it, and he disappears for months at a time, never to return and retrieve what he's asked for.

I know that UFOers are generally an uncultured lot, not inclined to like or pay attention to the cultural refinements of society or human civilization, but being responsive and/or polite might go a long way to delaying the descent into barbaric activity and thought that is blatant among the Trumpers who’ve taken over America.

Is that asking too much?

  • Well Rich, it's a bit like fishing, if the fish ain't biting, you may need to change the bait!?.....?

At least, we know where we sit with you, and that maybe why the fish ain't biting:)

There could be though, many other reasons..other interests, aside from the UFO topic & this lockdown doesn't help, as a distraction to life, you know this!?

70+yrs. of Conjecture, and you would think, we would all know by now, what UFO are, but nope! Not definitively anyway!? what more can be said, that already has been said.

What we are waiting for,is a new spark to come to the table, and re-ignite the topic on UFO/USO/UAPs and your right, we are waiting for the "Navy" to expand on this subject of more recent events, to get a handle on. On something that seems for now, so unreal to us...........

  • Daniel:

You are more perceptive than I've given you credit for.

  • Blessed is he who expects no gratitude for he shall not be disappointed.

UFO commentating these days is a thankless task. As a regular lurker I am often amazed at your ability to find new material day in and day out and do hereby apologize for routinely partaking of your efforts without ever acknowledging the significant labor involved. Thank you sir.

As my dear old mama was fond of reminding me "You’ll worry a lot less about what other people think of you when you realize how
    seldom they actually do."

  • Oh you're right about the rudeness, but American society in general has grown more rude, crude and vulgar over the last few decades, in my experience, and there's just something about digital communication that encourages bad behavior in a lot of people. So UFOers are just riding the wave.

  • The UFO notables are generally not rude, Michael.

It seems to be the newbies and younger internet users.

Although I have seen some gran'mamas and gran'papas on the news who've sunk into rudeness.

The behavior we're talking about reminds of the period when Noah built his ark.

Sorry Rich, I did not see that message! I have deep-dived into Remote Viewing and psychokinesis. And boy oh boy what a rabbit hole. I'm obsessed with Jeffrey Mishlove and his guests found via his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFk448YbGITLnzplK7jwNcw/video. I have a virtual stack of ebooks to read, and dvd to teach me how to Remote View. If I can begin to Remote View then my understanding of this reality will indefinitely change. Also, started a new job three weeks ago for a well-known female "self-help guru" so I have been busy.

So what dangers do you know about meditation? Do you pertain to the notion that one could be opening oneself up to daemonic forces?
