Queer is now the ubiquitous word for gay folks, so what’s next?

Most of you know that the one-time slur for gay folks, queer, is now the go-to word for homosexuals who are out and very public.
 
TV series, New Yorker and TLS references, and almost every other cultural endeavor have taken to use the word as often as they can.
 
So, what’s next? The “n-word” for people of color?
 
And the word “nutsies” for UFO fanatics?
 
This goes to the declining culture in Western civilizations.
 
Stand by, the worst is yet to happen…
