UFO Conjectures

David Grusch

Copyright 2023, InterAmerica, Inc.

Along comes David Grusch, a military and intelligence guy for the U.S., saying what almost all UFO followers have longed to hear, to know, to believe.

And we take this articulate, put-together-well fellow, knock him down and kick him in the teeth. And why?

The ridiculous reaction(s) to what we all know to be true – that the U.S. military has found or grabbed one UFO (or more) and has been studying the “machine” to obtain its supposed technical marvels and secrets -- is more than silly it's foolish and ugly.

And while it scotches my long-held and still slightly intact anti-ET  beliefs about UFOs, I am entranced by the semi-disclosure offered by David Grusch’s forthcoming information.

Unless David Grusch is a well-tempered sociopath, what he has to say rings true with me and should ring true with all you UFO [UAP] fanatics who’ve waited for someone, in any kind of authority, to say what David Grusch has stuck his neck out to say.

The skepticism about his tale is gnawingly pathetic.

While sh*ts like Jeremy Corbell run amok among the tattered UFO community and news media, David Grusch gives us pause to con- sider that what he’s telling us – shorn as it is of documentation or evidence – may have serious merit.

Let’s take a step back and see how this episodic moment plays out.

It hasn’t ended well for Luis Elizondo, but should end better for David Grusch, as he seems to have the ear of those in government who seek the truth of things – few as they are – and news media which while befogged by George Knapp or Corbell and other losers, seems to find something of value in David Grusch’s so-far curtailed information.

His effort may be the first step in what Greer, Bassett, and others have been doggedly waiting for, for years now.

  • Here is a thought experiment. There are two worlds currently. The real world where the ETs are, sharing technology etc. The fake world of pre- or non-disclosure where we live. Thing is the Pentagon rules both. Has a world power ever controlled two sides of reality before? Having both sides of the coin makes me think of a particular Spielberg film (not Close Encounters) and of Jesus's parable of the coin. The point I am making is that whatever we do the coin comes up the same. It is mad! But maybe the Pentagon learnt from Roman failure. As to whether Grusch is genuine, I would observe that his name seems to mean a Penny in German. I also note - synchronistically - that Mike Pence declared his candidacy today. Let's see how he does. My overall point is if there is any reality to high strangeness, disclosure will be WEIRD. And so far this passes my weird test ... but will the penny drop? And is the whole currency counterfeit? Sorry to take this in an odd direction but you and your readers may enjoy some ... wilder conjectures.

  • RR:

The following is written of Grusch:

"Grusch has served as an Intelligence Officer for over fourteen years. A veteran of the Air Force, he has numerous awards and decorations for his participation in covert and clandestine operations to advance American security."

Given the history of crashed saucer tales it seems reasonable to be skeptical of further such stories from an Air Force vet with a history of covert operations work. You're right of course that most UFO enthusiasts have been salivating at the prospect of a disclosure of the kind Grusch has offered for years or decades. But in my own case I've seen the whole ET angle in ufology and everything connected to it as bunk for a very long time.

  • Given that, according to Grusch (whose story is already falling apart under close scrutiny), the Italian fascists recovered an alien spacecraft in the 1930s, I’m shocked we aren’t having this back-and-forth in Italian!

  • The Italian tale is interesting. Paul.

I'll find the details in a book around here.

  • ". . . Grusch (whose story is already falling apart under close scrutiny) . . ."

If this is what's happening then it's very concerning, the idea that ufology has been suckered yet again. If so it's been orchestrated in a clever and particularly mean-spirited way that marginalizes it after it had so recently made it into the mainstream. But then the movement has always been poised to slip back into the fringe due to its own naivety and incompetence.

Ufology is no match for when the Gov wants to play hardball.

  • The jackals are sniffing around.

On Curt Collins's Facebook page, the story that Steven Greer claimed he's responsible for mentoring some of Grusch's work (which Grusch denies), to the point that Grusch has publicly asked Greer to stop using his name in Greer's PR releases.

If there's any scorn left after Knapp and Korbel, heap it on Greer.
