The [UFO] Phenomenon (and how its affecting humanity)

Copyright 2022, InterAmerica, Inc.

Followers of José Caravaca’s thesis, Distortion Theory, don’t seem to get its serious insight.

Aside from the current overblown attention to the DoD released videos of UFOs/UAP, there are reams of reports from people about alleged encounters with unusual entities, mostly inside a UFO context, intimating an extraterrestrial presence.

(See my notes here and other venues containing the online input of Albert Rosales, Preston Dennett, José, et al. detailing the supposed contacts.)

Dealing with those reports, via a psychological ambience, I see a struggle with anxiety and hysteria, caused by many factors that I don’t want to go into here. A current spate of news reportage about a woman afraid to leave her home because of what she thinks is a “UFO scare” makes the point:

https://popcrush.com/woman-claims-ufos-fears-alien-abduction/

https://brobible.com/culture/article/woman-abducted-aliens-nine-ufo-sightings/

My Substack pages, still being updated, contend that the Earthian “gods” – not real Gods or metaphysical divinities – caused human havoc and continue to do so, even to this day.

The problem lies in how that havoc – some devastating beyond belief: The Holocaust – is not and has not been discriminating, the “gods” causing general disruption and catastrophe without any specificity, harming innocent humans along with the non-innocent.

At some level, without intellectual awareness or high intelligence, some humans perceive that something’s wrong or not right.

These are those who end up with hallucinatory episodes – hallucinations that are palpable and on all accounts real in some way.

José’s hypothesis is on point; it just lacks clarification about the instigator of this mayhem. It’s not just a psychic malfunction but a psychic malfunction put in place by a real “external agent” – the term he uses for a neurological malfunction.

The “external agent” (or agents) is a manifestation of the still-extant “gods” who continue to plague humankind, without the ability to discern what is good and what is bad. The Gnostics called the activity of the Israelite god, Yahweh, evil or malevolent. And they were right,. (See Jung’s extensive material on the matter.)

I go into and continue to expand on the deviancy of the Israelite entity, Yahweh, via Substack and set it aside here pretty much as this is supposed to be about UFOs.

But let me assure you, the aspects of the UFO phenomenon – the so-called abduction stories and other wayward contacts, which are, perhaps, perhaps not, elements of the phenomenon – are wreaking havoc with some people, humanity in toto maybe, and José Caravaca is atop the matter, as are Rosales, Dennett too (even with his wrong ET evaluation) and others.

I’ll have more on this upcoming,

RR

  • Rich.. Within the UFO phenomenon, especially in close encounters, there is a lot of noise that diverts us from the important points. As you point out, these experiences open our perspectives on other phenomena that have occurred throughout history, and that have to do with :
1.-with our perception of reality, 2.- the expansion of human consciousness 3.- and the existence of an interactive and immersive cognitive universe for our psyche.

    Good note

  • I agree JC but wonder why this is so. Where is it supposed to be taking us.?

  • I believe that we must continue to investigate in this same direction, to see if a phenomenological interaction with these manifestations is possible and to redefine the concepts of reality. Some of our ancestors were able to pierce this veil,

By Blogger jacarav@ca, at Thursday, April 28, 2022

  • Hello Jose,

I have to ask what makes you think think that our ancestors were able to "pierce this vail"?

Similarly, if you well bear with me for a moment, are you suggesting that the agent is the man behind the curtain (as in Oz)- i.e. are we just being malevolently played with?

  • Bryan,

I have always believed in the existence of a factor or agent external to the human being, which is ultimately the point where phenomenology originates, although it is another matter that our psyche must be in a certain state of consciousness to be able to interact with this reality. Regarding our ancestors, it is obvious that they had contact with the same type of paradigm that we have labeled as close encounters with UFOs (I am not referring to the whole UFO concept) and many of them, especially shamans and visionaries, do seem to have obtained some degree of important information for their lives or community, beyond being enraptured by the image (as we have done).

  • Jose, might there be multiple external agents, or do you think this all stems from a single source? Does the phenomenon present itself in multiple guises, or is it human perception that makes many out of the one?

(I'm not suggesting anything here, but the thought did occur about the "legions" from the New Testament.)

  • Ron,

As far as I have been able to deduce, I would say that there is only one external agent that induces witnesses to have such experiences. I do not think it is a cognitive bias in the way described by psychology that our brain rearranges an unknown stimulus with known elements. Nor do I believe that it is a system of camouflage or deliberate deception on the part of the phenomenon. As I understand it, our psyche interacts with the paradigm in such a way that its cultural filters, unintentionally, "decorate" the manifestation in a certain way, and that is why it is seen in such a personal and non-transferable way.

By Blogger jacarav@ca, at Friday, April 29, 2022

  • "...induces witnesses to have such experiences." Do you believe these experiences are physical, leave physical traces (or not). In the recent Vallee interview/article (wired.com) , the writer put forth an interesting idea: that UFO's could be "3D holograms with mass". The "with mass" part is necessary to account for physical traces such as at Socorro and elsewhere. So if there's physicality involved, I'm not sure where "induce" comes into play - these are *really* happening in the physical world. Induce implies something more subtle. In the case of Zamora, he certainly wasn't 'asking' for such an encounter, he was just an unwitting victim.

  • James: In the Quantum hypothesis of multi (many) universes, anything is possible.

That aside, I keep suggesting that such "encounters" and activity are induced [sic]: imposed upon witnesses by something or someone.

The trace material you are enamored of does not come from ET craft containing supposed aliens from off Earth.

  • James...

The word "holagram" brings back the idea of technology of some kind, so I prefer to use the term "psychic architecture" since it does not presuppose an origin for these manifestations. It is indisputable that sometimes these apparitions have an indisputable physical reality, but probably not in the sense that we presuppose an extraterrestrial origin.

  • I'd be the last person to offer up ET as the source, it's ridiculous to think aliens are travelling inter-stellar dinstances in tiny vehicles from place to place. And in the case of Socorro, landing for all of 1 minute and then fleeing due to Zamora 'discovering' them. It's all a local phenomena. Trumpeting the ET idea pays the bills I guess, but its scientifically all but impossible. Since particles apparently "can appear out of nothing through quantum fluctuations" (plenty of articles about this), extrapolating to large objects is the only step needed to explain events that do not fit into our view of reality. I don't think we are going to move beyond that explanation until we can accomplish this ourselves. Not in my lifetime.

  • James, buddy boy, the Socorro incident is one of my favorite UFO accounts, as you know.

It doesn't seem suited to Jose's theory -- but who knows?

I think the event was a human-arranged episode -- but those two tiny footprints discovered at the scene throws me off. and that Ray Stanford intrusion about the symbol Zamora saw confuses the matter even more.

When I watched an interview Robert Kuhn had with a quantum physicist about the many worlds theories the other night, I almost decided that it would be easier and more productive to accept reality as I'm perceiving it; the matter as complicated and goofy as most scientific theories have become lately.

(There are suggestions that quantum mechanics does not only affect the micro world but the macro world too, as I bet you know.)

Jose's theory is remarkable and thought of highly by some neuroscientists I hang around with.

But I question why persons befuddled by Jose's external agent -- a psychical, mental phenomenon -- all end up having a UFO/ET orientation nowadays.

I accept the Marion (religious) environment as Jose presents it -- the milieu at the time was fecund.

But a UFO milieu becoming part of regular, normal human mental havoc? I don't think so.

  • "human-arranged episode" sure sounds like 'hoax' to me. I've read everything on the web about the case and just cant buy that Zamora got to within 103 feet of The Alleged UFO (TAU). Hard to fathom an adult not being able to distinguish objects known to him from experiences (as we all have) versus a shiny ovoid craft that blasted off and headed into the wind and out of sight. I have not visited New Mexico, but if I do I certainly plan to make a pilgrimage to the site. There is a fairly recent YouTube video (2019) if you were not aware, done by a tourist, who visited the site. It's all still there, including the little road Zamora took after he abandoned the chase. It's a 'modern era' event that has no viable explanation.

By Blogger jamesrav, at Tuesday, May 03, 2022

  • James, I'm not even close to explaining Socorro as a hoax.

Anyone who's followed my very protracted explication of the event knows that I've long favored the idea that the craft was a man-made object.

The details of my suggestion(s) are online here and elsewhere.

I'm not going to repeat the extensive time or material that long-timers have read and mentioned in their considerations of the sighting.

(Newspaper accounts of my exploits have noted my visit to the site in 1964.)

  • lucky you to have visited, I now do recall you mentioned that in the past. There are about a half dozen large PDF's on the case, I have not read the main book but the case files are comprehensive. It's all on the web now, nobody has a monopoly on info anymore.

Man-made object? Not to berate the point (and I realize I'm way off topic now), but that to me seems *almost* as scientifically impossible as the ET explanation. 60 years later we have nothing that can do what Zamora witnessed (and Musk's Starship is almost comically 50's in appearance, and that's the best we have). The government asked all private vendors if they were working on anything along those lines and they all replied 'no'. To go beyond that requires ideas of cover-up and conspiracy, and that's dubious so say the least (QAnon anyone?). If you will extend me this favor, what's your 'best' piece of tangible, solid, evidence that it might have been man-made? And why, oh why, has nobody involved in such a project (dozens, hundreds of people?) come forward to say "it was us". Or was it via process of elimination: it could not have been an ET craft since that's impossible ; it could not have been a hoax (Zamora or student) since that's impossible, ergo, top-secret man-made object.

  • James, I wish I had the time to recap my material on the Howard Hughes involvement, but I don't.

Let me suggest you go to the upper left corner of this blog and the rrrgroup.blogspot.com blog and type in Howard Hughes (or Socorro) in the "search box."

You'll get many of the notes that I've put online about this plus some....

  • thanks, I will check that out and do recall reading about HH in some of the posts over the years. I was reviewing 'old' comments I had made on Socorro and realized they went back 8 years, so this has been a long involvement. I will say that just because HH was the Elon Musk of his time and had 'unlimited money' does not mean much when it comes to developing something 100 years ahead of its time (if ever). It's similar to Colgate (head of a University) parenthetically telling Pauling (2x Nobel Prize) that it was a hoax. The 'gravitas' involved apparently convinced many that it was therefore a hoax (rather than just off-the-cuff bragging to an esteemed scientist). And I'd have to think given HH's ego he would have wanted to pilot any such craft, so to me that's a deal-breaker as far as his involvement. People are grasping at straws trying to explain the case rationally, fortunately Hector Q. and his group looked at it unemotionally and just had to conclude 'Unexplained'.

By Blogger jamesrav, at Wednesday, May 04, 2022

  • Well, I'm not tied to the HH/Aircraft suggestion, James.

Especially after finding out that 2 small footprints we're located at the site.

How this eluded me for so long is baffling but there it is.

The Zamora symbol is the clot-breaker.

But which symbol did he really see?

    That's the bugaboo.

    RR

By Blogger RRRGroup, at Wednesday, May 04, 2022

  • I need to re-read then, because I thought the total *lack* of footprints was a strong reason there could not have been a hoax involving students. But if there was mention (no photos?) of small footprints, that does change things. Zamora at some point denied he even saw 2 'beings', apparently due to the ridicule. Must have been tough days.

I just watches this competition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WeeTU3uGcc&ab_channel=XPRIZE
it's probably as close as we'll get to experience what Zamora saw. It's a reasonable approximation, 45 years later. And of course in New Mexico lol.

By Blogger jamesrav, at Wednesday, May 04, 2022

  • The footprints showed up in a documentary I had never seen and I was taken aback as no one made much of that detail in past accounts of the event.

Then there was mention of a similar sighting in Europe around the same time.

Many consider the matter a tired (or dead issue) -- hackneyed and tiresome.

And I'd have to agree. We need to move on, as Socorro has been mined, like Roswell, to the point where there isn't anything left to "research."

  • I wasnt going to post further, in the spirit of 'moving on', but this YT video from NASA is pretty compelling. Unlimited budget, 50 years of tech progress, and you have something similar to what Zamora witnessed. Interesting that he be frightened by it, we watch now and it's inspiring, not frightening. I wonder why a grown man would be turned pale and altered for life by such an incident.

  • The Morpheus test flight and others like it, much earlier (1960s) by Hughes Industries, using Russian prototypes, are interesting and might be extrapolated to explain Zamora's sighting but that, like everything else is a stretch.

The symbol/insignia that Zamora saw tells us who or what created the thing he saw.

That Stanford screwed this up is just short of a tragedy.

    It's time to move on....
