Can we wrap up Roswell. Socorro, and Kenneth Arnold’s sighting now?

Kevin Randle pretty much summarizes Roswell in his recent
book on the incident; one of the only questions unanswered is what did the
Ramey memo say.
Oh yah, and did an extraterrestrial vehicle crash near
Roswell?
That we can never know, unless someone gets to the alleged
U.S. military files that are being kept secret, files that prove an ET craft
ended up, downed near Roswell, with “victims” of that crash collected by the
Army air Force and held all these years at one of the governments secret
facilities: Wright Air Force Base or Area 51, maybe 52.
Kevin latest book, on the 1964 Socorro sighting by Police
Officer Lonnie Zamora, also completes the information about that event.
Oh yah, the egg-shaped craft’s symbol allegedly seen, and
drawn, by Officer Zamora, remains an unknown curiosity. And the incident,
despite Kevin ample curation of all the details, is still open to explanation.
But the “sighting” is done with.
Then there is Kenneth Arnold’s iconic 1947 sighting of nine
ET ships, as Bruce Maccabee sees it.
Bruce’s book on that famous, first up, sighting of “flying
saucers, “proves” that Mr. Arnold saw extraterrestrial ships, as did a
prospector (Fred Johnson) who saw those same objects (flying saucers) almost
simultaneously as pilot Arnold witnessed them.

concludes with a final spurt of ET belief.
Bruce writes that the objects were piloted by ETs who tried
to message that they are here by flashing a light (or other) ray at Arnold who
was flying in their vicinity.
A few questions come to my mind, from Bruce’s account, one
being why didn’t the DC-4, flying in sight of Arnold, report the dazzling display
that caught and maintained Mr. Arnold’s attention?
And why was there never another sighting, after Arnold’s and
Johnson’s, that mimicked theirs?
After all, the ETs were trying to announce their presence
Bruce insists, but never replicated their dynamic foray in sight of Ken Arnold
to others after June 24, 1947.
Did they lose that ability when one (or two) of their ships
crashed near Roswell (or Aztec)?
But we have three books that do justice, investigational
justice, to these three major UFO incidents in the lore.
Can we let them go now?

Sure, we can let them go.
But remember, the big wheel has turned and yet another generation is convinced by feature-writers and the media (including some really bad television) that these cases are real, valid proof of alien visitation.
Us old skeptics will see or hear these things, maybe read a recent comment demanding that they are authentic cases. With a mild groan we will lean forward, stretch out tired finger-tips and type a reply - trying to include decades of investigation, research, healthy and unhealthy debate, everything that has been learned about the 'incident' (whichever it was)and what was actually worth learning about it - into a few paragraphs.
Now that I think about it ... the newer generation will not only include believers but also young skeptics who have probably begun absorbing some of the exchanges at places like this and have greater energy for long-winded debate.
In time they will gain the skeptic's fatigue as well, just as we are.
Eventually they will come to haunt places where argument ensues, but more often ideas are thrown around and we (skeptics, believers and everything in-between) can enjoy and gain from the exchanges. While feeding our penchant for the wonder of ufological mystery we will all teach, learn and enjoy. Thanks for reading.

Have you noticed that David Rudiak, among others, has been very quiet of late? I assume that the recent books about the 3 cases you cited are so convincing that no further comment is needed. They stand as proof positive, and can never be refuted.
Bruce Maccabee has proved beyond question that ETs are, or at least were, visiting the earth. Kevin Randle has raised a few doubts in his recent book, but on the whole has proven that ETs did indeed crash to earth near Roswell, NM. Socorro needs the definitive and conclusive book but, as things stand, all the comments in recent blogs point definitively and conclusively towards an ET craft taking off from our planet (having, obviously, landed there a bit earlier). So we have evidence of ET craft at hypersonic speeds long before man ever achieved this, then evidence of a craft landing (crash-landing) on earth and, later, evidence of one taking off.
What more do you need? Why can't you accept this and stop all this silly and needless debate?
Those 3 cases ARE closed, as you say. They simply cannot be reopened. DR recognises this, even if few others do.
Please, let us now move on to more important matters, such as climate change and Brexit.(On second thoughts, please don't!)

To me, it dose not matter, the reports may be questionable, yes, but that does not mean the "event" didn't take place. We were not witness to the "events" only to the reports in question. In other words, we will never know, Just because a report might be in error, does NOT make the "event"....NOT to have taken place, Sorry!
The rest, is just water under the bridge...............

Okay fellows...
Bruce Maccabee offered why he wrote about Arnold's now hackneyed sighting. It made a lot of sense to me.
(Buy the book to see his defense for writing a non-essential, as some think, book.)
As for David Rudiak, CDA, I'm concerned that he hasn't appeared anywhere lately, or so it seems.
Destination America, that obtuse mystery show, repeated a program about Roswell the other night.
In it, again, was a woman at the Roswell UFO Museum, I think, who was showing off the Ramey memo and its use of the word "victims" -- which she said a woman had uncovered by deciphering the words in the hard-to-see text.
Rudiak is the author of the word "victims" in the Ramey Memo, yes?
Anyway, nothing from him about that or anything else. Is he okay? In good health? I hope so.

These incidents have been "investigated" to death multiple times. But, like squatch searching or nessie noodling, one can always take a tired old topic and squeeze a few more dollars out of the tattered carcass. Likewise with Roswell. Amazon carries nearly 600 books on Roswell and a significant number of new ones are added every year. The public desire to believe in aliens is insatiable.

That word 'victims' again. So we now have that some woman uncovered it, or "deciphered" it, and has not given credit to Mr Rudiak. Thus she becomes yet another 'victim'.
If Solarity is right about nearly 600 books on Roswell being carried on Amazon, I would only say that of those 600 people (many repeated of course), there must be a plethora of victims.

How would you, or any of the 'Roswell Witnesses', know that something they think they see, are things that 'can never born on Earth'.
As even Kevin Randle (one of the earliest and most honest researchers into the 'Roswell' case) discovered, none of the 'I stumbled across a crashed flying saucer with alien bodies spilled onto the desert floor nearby' witnesses, withstood years of serious investigation.
It's comments like yours which skeptics (young or old) must fight hard to resist correcting.
Either you haven't been following this case well or your too narrow in your opinions to follow the evidence to its valid conclusion.
If you think I am wrong, right or somewhere in-between, i'm keen to know what you think, Michael.

I have the same objection about Easter, yet every year people talk about it. Socorro will eventually resolve itself on its own, since if by 2060 nobody confesses to a hoax and no secret 'lunar lander' document about a test is revealed, those two explanations fall by the wayside. Leaving only ET or something even stranger as possibilities.

That "can never born in Earth" told the Witnesses. They told that the dead Aliens indeed look like similar to Humans but they had Skin like a Reptile.
And i know: there dont exist a Human-like Species on Earth with Reptile-Skin.

Why told that Kevin Ranbdle not 20 or 30 Years ago, hmmm? The UFO Theme in Relation to a ET Origin is out and now the Forteans have the helm in hand...within the UFO Scene. And they do not want to hear Storys about UFO from outer Space. This is how different authors fit in because they also want to earn money
I believe the Witnisses from 80s Years because their Memories was the freshest there. I read the Book of Don Smitt and Tom Carrey, i mean the Book with Wright Patt, and there are also testimonies for Alienbodies.
Besides, the different Roswell Researchers and Authors are severely divided among themselves...and especially Kevin Randle stands at the Front in these Disputes!
So...whom should i believe? Who is right, who is wrong? Paper is patient! So i believe only the Witnesses.

UFO incidents are abnormal. In the light of the abnormality other things that would be recognized as abnormal are considered normal and unquestioned.
Roswell: A ranch hand from Lincoln County reports to the sheriff of Chavez County about some stuff on the ranch. The sheriff informs a RAAF intelligence officer who, in a Buick, follows this stranger in his pickup truck into the twilight to someplace or other in the boonies and spends the night.
Socorro: Everyone without exception does not speak to the only witness first. Instead they speak to Sgt Chavez. This includes the Army, FBI, Air Force, and APRO, and also PBB representatives, including Hynek, who as well, upon returning to Socorro a year later to re-enact the sighting with Zamora, first takes Sgt Chavez to lunch. Nobody talks to Zamora first.
Mt Ranier: Arnold taking some trash from around the cockpit (it might as well have been a popsicle stick and a bit of string) makes some estimates. Decades later there are how many analyses of these three minutes? I call it 'minarcing', a specialty of science-campers on both sides of the ETH debate.
So, yes I think the above sort of thinking can be wrapped up and tossed in the wastebasket.
