The seemingly “intelligent maneuvers” of UFOs

Copyright 2018, InterAmerica, Inc.
The 1948 Gorman “dogfight” with a UFO, the 1976 Iranian jet encounter, and the recent Pentagon disclosed pilot sightings of UFOs, in which the crew(s) thought the strange things they confronted behaved as if they were intelligently controlled is what I'm addressing here.

Now I know that humans have a tendency to see intelligence in erratic behavior of animals and even machines, but I’m inclined to believe that the pilots in the UFO sightings noted here were not cavalier observers, and saw what appeared to be thought-instilled maneuvers by the UFOs they came upon.

Now, if that’s the case, what accounts for the perceived behavior?

Some UFO ET diehards will posit that the UFOs were “manned” by intelligent extraterrestrials, but you know my feeling on that: ETs coming to Earth in the numbers indicated by UFO reports is extraordinarily bizarre and outside what one might consider rational extraterrestrial activity, although we really don’t know what is rational behavior by an advanced species from elsewhere.

Yet, assuming that the UFOs did act with sentience or intelligence, what does that tell us?

I think it may indicate that the UFOs in such cases as those named above, and others, where the UFO(s) acted with prescience, were the result of an AI algorithm and the UFOs are von Neumann-like probes that came upon or sought out flying craft to interact with.

UFOs don’t interact with boats, or trains or automobiles or balloons or cows in such a manner – with mimicking maneuvers – but they do proceed to interact with airplanes, rockets, and facilities that support flying craft of an advanced kind.

This tells me that some UFOs are intelligent machines of an AI kind and when they come upon or are accosted by like machines (jets and planes), they try to force a “dialogue” by “playing” with their fellow machinery.

That an advanced intergalactic species or an AI dominant civilization that once stumbled upon this fecund planet and return now and then (even in significant numbers) is not beyond possibility, in my mind.

    Interesting point of view!

    (a) Are they interested in, what's in the (jets and planes) Like the "Pilot and/or Passengers"

    (b) Are they interested in, how the plane works. What is its propulsion system?

What electronics might it have!? Does it have a Defence system? If so, How lethal?
How fast is the planes top speed? What cargo is it transporting?

    (c) Or what does it NOT, have onboard?

    (d) Finally; A challenge, that does not meet their expectations; and speed off in the blink of an eye, catch us if you can;).............

  • Daniel:

Unearthly AI machines (UFOs) are looking at what they think are AI machines, like themselves....their "brothers" as it were.

They are cavorting with "friends" or trying to determine if the AI machines here may be enemies.

They are like dogs sniffing other dogs.....nothing more than that.

  • Well,if you say so, Rich. Why not? it could be..........

  • Yes, Daniel...

    It could be.

  • When you wrote "AI logarithm" did you mean "algorithm"? They are a bit different you know.

  • I've corrected it CDA.

    Thanks.

    I didn't see the auto-correct.

  • The idea of AI-driven probes interacting with our aircraft is a compelling scenario. The cat-and-mouse type behavior that has been reported does seem to fit well with an AI algorithm.

I think that sending these probes into our airspace unattended would be quite risky, though, regardless of the level of technology they represent. Our observers (assuming they exist) have managed to maintain a deep level of anonymity, and they would probably go to great lengths to avoid leaving behind any hard, physical evidence of their visits and/or observations. If an unmanned probe malfunctioned, crashed or was captured in some way, that could result in a catastrophic and unintended reveal, from our observer's perspective.

Perhaps these types of probes could be released in significant numbers by a single piloted craft, much in the same way that many smaller manned crafts might be released from a nearby “mother ship”. One mother ship might release six smaller crafts, each of which releases and monitors 12 small, unmanned probes. If one of the 72 probes released encounters difficulty, someone is available to “rescue” it from our grasp.

The unmanned probe explanation also seems to fit some of the rather small UFOs that have been reported over the years. Either that football-sized UFO is unmanned, or there are some very short aliens out there!

  • I like the idea, Kevin, that AI UFOs may be directed by motherships, but that forces the idea that motherships have been coming here or are coming here in droves and, as you know, I'm not convinced that Earth is as a prominent planet in the galaxy (or Universe, surely) that would be so incessantly attractive to alien races from afar.

But intelligent probes, recreated or built as they peruse the universe or galaxy as programmed by others or themselves would allow visitations, not as many as UFO reportage indicates but some.
