UFO Conjectures

SuperReality (and UFOs?)

Copyright 2022, InterAmerica, Inc.
I thought I had a book entitled SuperReality. I don’t. I have Quantum Reality and other books with “reality” in the title, but no Super – and the title Super Reality or SuperReality doesn’t show up at Amazon, except in a variety of MP3 music offerings.

The reason for my search comes from the re-insertion of Jacque Vallee’s suggestion, now picked up Diana Walsh Pasulka, that a sneaky reality is the source of UFOs.

Our pals here, Dominick and Daniel think UFOs appear via ET visitations, and I suppose others visiting here think so also.

But the real reality is this: Earth is a unique reality unlike anything else in the vast Universe, perhaps.

What happened here, and happens here, doesn’t happen and has- n’t happened anywhere else in the vast Cosmos that we seem to perceive.

When a former chum of mine invokes (errant) philosophical bro- mides to try and explain UFOs, he is far afield in a non-sensible realm that only applies to ramshackle cogitation applicable to Earth’s humans and their evolutionary vicissitudes.

Another guy I know, applies a religio-psychological patina to UFOs, which is interesting but has nothing to do with the UFO reality (or even my lopsided view about UFOs being vehicles of the ancient gods, reasserting dominance over humanity anew and still).

The idea that UFOs are current high-tech vehicles of the U.S. or another major military player flies apart in the vast panoply of sightings registered for millennia, or seems to be.

That article posted here the other day – about the uniqueness of Earth and all of its activities, evolution, and history – can’t be applied to possible life or civilizations extant somewhere else in our Galaxy or the known Universe itself.

The desperation on the part of some fellows here for answers from others – the government or self-appointed UFO insiders – is con- cerning. No one knows or isn’t telling what is known, for sure (if there is something “for sure”), about the phenomenon.

Such desire by pals here distresses: it reminds me of people hoping for answers from a fortune teller or cult leader, as explicated by Diane Sawyer in ABC’s show Friday night [3/11] about Heaven’s Gate and the people who fell for that scurvy, insane ploy, and ended up dead in a mass suicide.

I’ve shorn myself of people who promote known charlatans, like Whitley Strieber and I'm pointing fingers at my gang who are playing footsie with Richard Doty, even after Kevin Randle (and others) point out the man is a flotsam of disinformation and scalawag behavior.

It’s time to be rational, more than ever, with insanities all over the place – Putin’s Russia, Trumpster anti-pandemic persistence and other incongruities, and a UFO epidemic of mad assertions, even from those who should know better.

  • Don't recall playing footsie with Richard Doty (!) although it may have happened. And if we write off everyone in the UFO community who has made mistakes and research blunders (or even kept certain information secret) (Vallee, Dolan, etc.) I dare say that there would be almost no one left to talk about.

Kevin Randle spoke to various details (and alleged errors) in the Doty interview and that's appreciated; but he did NOT speak persuasively to the general credability of Doty's claims concerning his work within various AF/UFO SAPs. What we really need to know is: Does Doty have the proper credentials? Are their fellow retired AF spooks that can speak (or have spoken) about his credability? Has Doty ever offered any corroboration(film, photos, paper trail, etc.) that could advance his claims about the reality of crashed aliens and crafts?

The prime objection to someone like Doty has been that he has a checkered past of alleged disinformation. Fine, I get it. But the disinformation hypothesis can cut both ways. After all, disinformation is most often employed to cover and obscure "information" that is actually true and accurate. It has been used historically by members of the intellegence community for alleged national security purposes. Thus to dismiss Doty simply because he lied or mislead UFO investigators in the past is to miss, perhaps, the national security implications of the UFO phenomenon that the intelligence community has been attempting to obscure for decades.

So my basic question still stands. Is it likely that someone like Doty worked within AF SAPs concerning UFOs; that someone like Doty had access to the crashed alien and craft scenerio; and that he could be speaking out now, truthfully, about that experience?

  • But Dom, is it our goal to unravel Doty or to unravel UFOs?

If it's the latter, Doty is a side-bar, an impediment, for which we should spend no time.

    He's tainted goods.

I know you want "insider" answers -- that's where the truth may reside -- but Doty is no insider, and trying to determine whether he is or not, wastes our time and energy.

  • -> UFO reality (or even my lopsided view about UFOs being vehicles of the ancient gods, reasserting dominance over humanity anew and still) <-

I don't know Rich, your view of UFOs being vehicles of the ancient gods, reasserting dominance over humanity, isn't that lopsided at all,and if there's something to it,then
where are they residing right now!? I still think about that possibility, it's a good point you make, because we know they've been here along time, but where? I think there is a lot going on that we at the moment, are not aware of....as Yet! Someone knows, but
if they were to speak out, would we believe their story anyway:).........?

  • Rich:

Both Rich! Because Doty has the story on UFO his experience..is it true?...........

  • Like many others, I used to think many UFOs were spaceships of aliens from other solar systems, although increasingly this seems like the least likely hypothesis. For one thing, it turns out that planet Earth is an incredibly unusual—perhaps a unique—planet. Here are three great books which investigate this matter and explain its importance.
Rare Earth: Why complex life is rare in the universe, by Peter D. Ward and Donald Brownlee
The Privileged Planet: How our Place in the Cosmos is Designed for Discovery, by Guillermo Gonzales and Jay W. Richards
The Fifth Miracle: The search for the origin and meaning of life, by Paul Davies.
Davies, for example, points out that the odds against DNA occurring “by chance” are astronomical. If it were some sort of accident, it could never be repeated even if there are trillions and trillions of galaxes. Francis Crick (of DNA fame) posited that there was so little time for DNA to get going by accident once the planet cooled down a bit, that Earth was almost certainly seeded with DNA from the outside, either accidentally, or intentionally (by intelligent aliens). Of course, this “panspermia” hypothesis only pushes back the question of how DNA occurred it the first place. Davies is not a theist, but he respects the position that there could be some sort of “supernatural” source for DNA.
Another possibility is that UFOs are the manifestations of ourselves from the future (a hypothesis well-defended by Michael P. Masters in Identified Flying Objects). And they may be manifestations of super-natural yet somehow Earth-linked beings (gods, angels, demons, and so on). I say Earth-linked, because our planet may be the only inhabited orb in the cosmos. Vallee, Keel, and more recently Nick Redfern (Final Events) explore the trickster, dark-side dimension of UFOs. I’ve been investigating this angle for some time. Very disturbing, given the evidence for Others that are in charge of our destiny. Consider the viewpoint of the ancient Greeks, who regarded human beings as “playthings” for the gods.

  • Thank you, Mike.

I'm in agreement with Dr. Masters and noted his book here a few months ago.

I'll touch on some of the items you've presented, upcoming (once more).

The ETH, while enticing, is just improbable for me -- considering the James T Webb photos circulating, showing how vast the Universe is and how puny we (the Earth) is.

The ET angle is not impossible, just iffy for me.

But then so are the other considerations.

  • you're almost stealing 'my' phrase Supra Reality :). I think Paranormal and Supernatural have too much negative baggage (an immediate eye-roll by 'respected' academicians). Vallee (from the start) and Mack (eventually) seem to have concluded that we were not dealing with anything easily understood. Vallee recently said he'd be disappointed if UFO's ended up being 'merely' ET craft. I agree. Even regarding Bigfoot, I'd be disappointed if it's a real animal. I liked what the article author opined: "3D hologram with mass?". Deepfakes, metaverse ... we are getting there ourselves.
