NASA's going to Venus? (Say "hello" to Orthon for us)

NASA plans to put a rover on Venus. Why?

Sure Venus may show us what could have happened to Earth or may yet (with climate warming) but aren't there better places to explore, like some of the interesting moons of Jupiter and Saturn?
