UFO Conjectures

From Rick's FB offering

Let’s assume……

Copyright 2022, InterAmerica, Inc.

That the alleged encounters provided by Albert Rosales, Preston Dennett, et al. actually took place as reported by those involved.

The stories have a tinge of authenticity but reek of fantasy and hallucinatory by-products,

The persons offering their accounts are neither prevaricating or awash in mental disturbance, it seems to me.

But I read the reports as primarily within the confines of psychology…..however …..

If they are psychologically induced, what creates them – what’s their cause, or origination?

Neurology might provide the biological mechanism allowing for the intrusions, but the intrusions themselves derive from memory input and other things that impact one’s consciousness.

Setting aside a discussion of the psychological manifestations, let me ask, what if the encounters are as real as told? That is, how comes such encounters or experiences?

The allegation that such “visitations” or happenstances arrive by way of extraterrestrial contact is too foolish to derive an attempted explanation.

The attributes of the confrontations, both good or bad, are fanciful, often like a bad movie or lousy sci-fi story, but there they are.

What causes such intermediary assaults, benign as they generally end up being?

An advanced species that would or could arrive on this planet wouldn’t behave, it seems, as recounted by those apparently affected. The detailed encounters are bizarre in ways that bespeak psychological pathology, but we’re trying not to go that route in a search for an explanation.

But what is left to consider? That’s what UFO researchers should be doing.

Rosales and Dennett are reporters not investigators of the causal factors that bring on such encounters (or tales).

Dennett assumes the ET explanation pretty much, but that is simplistic and unworthy of consideration it seems to me.

My psychological approach is also shorn of accuracy; no set of persons as those telling the stories could be so warped mentally. That would indicate an epidemic of madness (insanity) that is statistically unreal, well beyond numerical reason.

So, how do we account for the stories of meetings between odd, unearthly entities?

From where do they come?

Dr. Michael Masters in his book Identified Flying Objects provides a suggestive hypothesis as does José Caravaca by way of his Distortion Theory, but both leave me wanting something more decisive.

Any suggestions from my Peanut Gallery?
