That alleged 1966 photo of Frank Mannor’s Ann Arbor/Dexter UFO

A while back, while looking for a government sheet of available photos and films for Dominick, I came across a photo of the 1966 Ann Arbor UFO that was given to me by a young girl I thought I had a relationship with, during my time gathering material about the UFO sighting for the Detroit NEWS.
 
The photo has a history: it, with some personal letters I had, was taken from my desk back then.
 
The photo, which someone had pilfered, was eventually returned.
 
Apparently, a friend of the girl, who gave me the photo, had stolen it one night while visiting my home while I was gone.
 
(I heard, a few years later, from the 18 year-old girl who originally gave me the photo, after she read some pieces about me in the Detroit newspapers. The photo was not part of that conversation.)
 
I hadn’t thought about the photo but was pleased to find it among my cache of UFO stuff.
 
I’ve placed the photo on my very private web page, to which only the most intimate of my pals have access.
 
I planned to make the photo available here for you fellows and readers. It is likely the only photo of the witnessed object Frank Mannor and his son plus some citizens and sheriff officers saw as the object flew over the swamp where it had originally been spotted.

However, I thought it wise to get an okay from the girl who gave it to me (and who, I suppose, took the photo). Had she made any arrangements about ownership?
 
But I can’t locate her, trying all sources where she should be noted, even obituaries, but to no avail thus far. I tried variations on her last name, just in case I remembered it incorrectly. But nada.
 
So, until I am assured the photo is scot-free of any ownership by anyone, other than me, I’m holding it in abeyance.

What instincts (drives) might an extraterrestrial species have?

Evolution on Earth, as Darwin explained it, deals with instinct thusly:

Those drives which living creatures are immersed in or control their behavior developed by experience (or awareness, conscious awareness, which is a matter for discussion in many quarters nowadays): survival is the major force, instinctive – intrinsic – to all species on our planet.
 
The ubiquity of the sex drive – developed and supported by the factual observations of all of us – has been delineated by Freud, of course, and flush in the historical records of humanity since time immemorial.
 
The sex drive, libido (actual or sublimated), is patently obvious, and necessary for the survival of species, animal and vegetable. It, supplemented by pleasures, insures the continuation of all life forms, and goes beyond the profound abstraction of species survival over the long-haul.
 
The idea of prey is at the top of almost every species, extant or once-living, and is a drive endemic to virtually every living thing on Earth.
 
All other drives are subservient to these two instinctive behavioral patterns of evolution.
 
But what of species elsewhere in the vast cosmos of the Universe?
 
Did their emergence derive from the same kind of exigencies that faced the early forms of life on this planet?
 
Was survival at the top of the list facing developing life elsewhere?
 
That is, would other species be prone to the surrounding problems that faced Earth’s emerging life-forms?
 
Or was (is) life elsewhere devoid of the problematic environment(s) that faced (and still face) early life forms here on this planet?
 
Curiosity is considered by some to be an instinctive drive of humanity (and some other forms of Earth-life), but I’d set that aside, to be debated within the corridors of academia where the vicissitudes of consciousness are struggled with.
 
Are extraterrestrial species subject to the pleasures and pains of the sex drive? Or the need to pursue sustaining survival needs such as food, shelter, or environmental dangers?
 
How can we know?
 
The patently bizarre accounts of contact with alien beings in the vast library (lore) of UFO encounters haven’t provided any clue to the matter of what drives alleged visitors to our Earth.
 
And conjecture by cosmologists can’t be sustained by what little is known of possible life-forms off Earth.
 
Once UFOs are contained by science or the military and opened to informational scrutiny maybe we’ll get an understanding of extraterrestrial “evolution” – if there is such a thing.
 
Meanwhile, we can only speculate about what might drive ETs to visit here, if UFOs are, in fact, their spacecraft – a remote probability but grudging possibility for me.

A radio program about a strange UFO abduction

This video sounds like two guys talking in a bar, after a few drinks. but the story being recounted, while weird and unbelievable, has a few details that strike a chord:

The alleged abduction took place in the mineral-rich Minas Gerais state of Brazil, the site of the Vilas Boas incident, conjectured to be an MK Ultra experiment.

The aductees also were granted a copy of the Sun system(s) their abductors came from. (The alien kidnappers produced a color copy from the ship's Xerox-like machine, of their planetary source for the abducted persons.) 

The description of the abducting craft is beyond common imagi- nation as are the details of communication and accoutrements inside the kidnapping UFO.

An alleged discussion between the chief alien and the captured Jehovah Witness minister is bizarre as are the telepathic exigencies between those kidnapped and their kidnappers, during and after the supposed adventure.

The point of listening to the conversation is to see how far "experiencers" have gone to create what has to be a crude sci-fi like narrative or how crazy the abduction circus was, just a few years ago, gathering steam among UFO enthusiasts nowadays.

Another interstellar visitor -- like the oumuamua "thing" that was a hot topic a short while ago -- makes a few possible speculations advisable:

If such comet/asteroid insertions are actually vehicles carousing the universe looking for life or are a kind of spacecraft housing an alien species, why are they so fundamentally unaesthetic?

The objects are crude, without defined form or aerodynamic beauty.

This indicates a species without aesthetic appreciation or a species so devious that it designs its "spycraft" to look like natural formations of a common kind, found all around solar systems, including our own.

I agree with Avi Loeb that the oumuamua visitor plunged through our solar system in a way that bespoke intention.

The new "object" discussed in this video may be seen likewise.
