UFOs and UAP: We are stuck in a metaphysical quandary

Our pal Dominick suggests something in a comment here that provokes a response that can’t be answered:
 
Dominick, in a reply to the Philip Morrison insert in a video about ETs – Morrison saying that ETs would be so different from us that trying to deal with “them” might be impossible – offers the idea that ET’s may have created us, humans, in their ET likeness.
 
That’s a proviso used by those who choose to ignore the Biblical dictum that humans were created in the image of God. (Atheists like to use that as a ploy against the idea that there is a god – Dominick a professed atheist.)
 
You know my trouble with the Biblical/Christian concept of God – Yahweh.
 
But even setting aside that god pretender [Yahweh], one has trouble coming up with any idea about the supposed creator of humankind, the Earth, Universe and everything called reality.
 
I was planning to use the idea of a transcendent God as the Matrix simulator but the concept of God suffers from a basic plea of anyone conjuring with a belief in God: From where did God derive?

Using the Aristotelian/Thomistic premise for God as "The First Cause" doesn't work.either. Even a First Cause needs a precedent.

So humans come from where? Evolution. And how does evolution begin? By accident? Fate? The law of Nature or physics or ???

And from whence do ETs or non-humans derive? From fate? From their evolutionary providence?

And so on ...

The Ontological/Metaphysical arguments do not help us out.

Is there a God? Does it matter?

The nature of reality is not open to conclusionary exegesis.

That's why I long for a sit-down with the generators of UFOs (or even UAP). What do they "know" or think about their creation? Their being? Or from whence they derive?

Philosophy can't help us with the origins of ETs or even ourselves?

To try and plumb those depths is futile.

So, when I responded to Dominick's rejoinder: Maybe ETs created us (humans) in their image. My reply, "Who created ETs? is just as silly.

We (humanity) have no answer to anything metaphysical or philosophical or conjectural about reality or anything about reality.

And I bet ETs don't either.

This is a refresher course for UAP newbies and those who like to be reminded of some UFO cases that continue to pique one's interest in the phenomenon.

We have moved on -- some of us -- from the UFO past: UFOs exist and are a solid phenomenon.

It's now a matter of getting hold of the phenomenon -- distinct photos (close up), remnants of their supposed accidents or shot-downs, and a bona fide proof of those responsible for them: ETs, non-humans, time-travelers, dimensional interlopers, whatever. 

The UFO past is a possible prologue, but it's time for an exposé of that prologue.
