Could a UFO ET tell us anything about God?

A recent photo, on Facebook of Holocaust victims brought forth about a thousand comments,
many anti-Semitic in nature, disguised by the commentators noting how many
non-Jews have been killed in the course of history.
The anti-Semites ignored the systematic, calculated, and
sinister process that the Nazis used to try and eliminate all of Jewry, while
many of the non-Jewish massive deaths cited were often collateral damage, the
blind rampages of dictators trying to cement their moments of power [Stalin,
Mao, Pol Pot, et al.] or the insidious encroachment of countries
subduing other countries for empire [the Spaniards raping the meso-Americans,
the United States obliterating native Americans for their lands, et cetera].
That human deaths in massive waves have taken place
throughout human existence is not unnoticed by anyone with a sense of
compassion for life, human and otherwise.
But while many attribute human death to man’s obdurate free
will, one can make the rational case that it’s God who has doomed mankind to
its ultimate fates.
Aristotle made the case for such divine evil by suggesting
that God is the captain of the ship (Earth with its human cargo) and thus
responsible for all that befalls the ship.
The great Thomas Aquinas attempted, in his Summa
Theologiae, to retrench the Philosopher’s brilliant insight but was not
able to so. [I’ve covered this a few times in other blogs of mine.]
And some of us know that Melville’s monumental and also
brilliant account of the nature of God in Moby Dick told us how God
works in the Universe and when one gives attention to God or seeks to know God
(capture it or its essence), they are doomed, like the crew of the Pequod.
My point, if I have one, is that if there are advanced [sic]
species aflight in the cosmos and we have access to them via UFOs, could they
provide us some knowledge of God or what God may be, even if there is a God or
not.
This is one reason that UFOs keep me interested, the
possibility that they contain entities with insight to things hidden from us,
humans.
Yes, I know, I discount the idea that it’s unlikely that
extraterrestrial visitations have taken place and are still going on, because the Earth is
less than a seed in the vast cosmos, even a mite in our own galaxy, but there
is always the chance – remote as it may be – that ETs have been or are on our
doorstep.
And ETs are far more interesting that mute spirits, or Big
Foot entities, or Loch Ness monsters, Mothmen, MIB, or chupacabrae.
ETs offer the possibility of knowledge that we humans are in
desperate need of. Those creatures favored by paranormalists have no such coins
of the realm as it were.
