Hi Rich, Mellon has been interviewed by a Spanish journalist, Sonia Gupta, at a congress in Barcelona, on whether the videos hidden by the U.S Navy could prove the extraterrestrial hypothesis, Mellon answers that the UFO videos do not prove anything at all, and adds that in fact the authorities have no reason for not to declassify this material.
There is a quiescence within the UFO community

Or maybe a stasis. Even ennui.
UFO’s quiet-for-now enthusiasts are floating aimlessly between perfunctory “conferences” and odd-get-togethers, some usually astute ufologists (Rich Hoffman) visiting and playing around in the dirt at Skinwalker Ranch, a current go-to for those bitten by the History Channel’s abysmal foray there.
It appears that the non-disclosure of the Navy’s batch of supposed UFO videos has disoriented or so greatly disappointed disclosure aficionados, they have slunk into a state of immobility and thought.
A few UFO newbies, using social media (Facebook, Reddit, et al.), are saturating the UFO topic with citations of alien kidnappings and inane photos of lights ad orbs or anything taken windward into the sky.
We are in dopeyville once more.
Even my usually loquacious readers here are besmocked by the loss of a somewhat expected presentation of UFO videos by the DoD or Navy.
John Greenewald Jr. (Black Vault) is suimmarily stunned into silence by the unanswered returns for his FOIA requests.
Yes, my friends, it’s time to shake off the shackles of lugubrious reticence and come forth with some ingenious ideas about where the UFO phenomenon exactly is right now.
I know this is asking a lot, since some of you (most?) are locked into that senseless ET bromide to explain UFOs, but try to offer something, anything that smacks of out-of-the-box thinking.
I, and others, wait with bated breath.
