If the U.S. military can't capture, intact or otherwise, a floating Chinese balloon, how could we expect them to capture a cigar-shaped or disk-shaped UFO, intact or otherwise?

A mass pathology is possible but I lean toward an objective observation, however one that may derive from a mass misper- ception, but when descriptions align, a mass misperception is an errant explanation pretty much, as was the case with the 1994 Ariel school "visitation" in Zimbabwe.

Yet, a contrived MK Ultra event might be accepted as a possibility.

The episode above is no MK Ultra concoction but were there fleets of UFOs circling the Earth in 1796?

Are there notations of such fleets in past times or ancient times? They are rare but found in the Aubeck/Vallee Wonders in the Sky book, from which many included accounts have been challenged.

Today "fleets" of UFOs are either orbs or batches mentioned in the AATIP video leaks but not provided in the proffered jet airplane images we all have seen over and over again.

What kind of extra-terrestrial civilization would have the "economics" or wherewithal to send a fleet of UFOs to this pathetic, backwater planet for scrutinization for extended periods?

And what kinds of visits would make up the fleet of UFOs scenarios, like that in the clips above?

Suggestions would be welcome.
