The Uncivility of UFOers

The passivity of visitors/readers here isn’t surprising. But
the rudeness of some is.
Theo Paijmans [Theo163 online], for instance, is irritated
because I’ve often not accepted his critical musings, but when I asked him to
provide what he found out when he “vetted” Albert Rosales’ humanoid listings
(found at Albert’s web-site and in his Humanoid series of books often noted
here), no response was forthcoming.
Dvelys posted a comment, not long ago, about practices to
stimulate the mind and I offered to provide some current thinking about the
dangers of meditation. No response from Dvelys, who is scouring the internet for
fringers who provide sustenance to Dvelys’s obscure predilections.
A former friend who has become a sh*t sent a comment in
response to my noting that persons who visit here merely lurk by telling me
that 'bots are not persons". What am I to do with that non-sequitur response?
Tim Hebert is surprised that I’ve taken to compliments about
Facebook – which is hardly true – although I do acknowledge that while there is
a lot of dreck – a heavy load of it – all over Facebook, the UFO crowd there is
generally robust and polite among themselves.
The UFO community at
Facebook often responds to comrades’ UFO filings and posts, offering support or
addenda that is helpful or pertinent.
Yes, there is a lot of hooey, but it’s proffered humorously.
Nothing like that is found at UFO blogs or web-sites, mostly filled with
commentary or retorts that are either sycophantic or mooshy. [See my pal Kevn
Randle’s blog for examples.]
Here I have gotten requests to expand upon, with links and
sources, some of my posterings, and I do, but there are no replies from those
requesting such.
Anthony Bragalia likes it when I link to his UFO utterances.
But when persons comment about his postings I’ve listed, Tony chooses to ignore
their questions or rebukes.
Terry the Censor -- from Canada, where one experiences civility generally -- often asks for more info on a posting here. I provide it, and he disappears for months at a time, never to return and retrieve what he's asked for.

I know that UFOers are generally an uncultured lot, not
inclined to like or pay attention to the cultural refinements of society or
human civilization, but being responsive and/or polite might go a long way to
delaying the descent into barbaric activity and thought that is blatant among
the Trumpers who’ve taken over America.
Is that asking too much?
