Two magazines: one you'd like, the other, not so much?
I noted my subscription to Skeptical Inquirer a few weeks ago, but the New Scientist is a new magazine for me, one full of scientific goodies, many that some of you would find interesting and/or useful.
You can grab 6 free issues but agreeing to sign for a half-year at $69 (26 weekly issues), a bit steep perhaps, but worthwhile.

Chris Lehto's "live" Q & A the other night on You Tube
\
I know you fellows dislike my snarkiness about the ignorance rampant in society and especially the UFO community, but during Chris Lehto's live Q&A stream on YouTube the other night, you'll see how comprehensively stupid his audience was, without exception.
This is the state of intelligence in UFO circles, and parallels the general mental status of humans across all strata of current civilization.
That no one calls out such flagrant unintelligence allows for such mental lassitude to thrive and proliferate.
And from a psychological perspective, noting Lehto's demeanor, I'm almost alarmed by where his head is, now that he's been immersed in the UFO topic for the past few years.
This goes to John Keel's lapse into mental instability, just as it seems to affect some usually brilliant UFO comrades that I once held in high esteem.
