There are a number of ways to create the Calvine photo, not just by hanging something from a string – so old-school.
 
But the matter can be resolved, as Dominick suggests, by talking with the fellows who took the photo (or created it).
 
As s prototype or advanced U.S. (or any other country) aircraft, the thing in the photo is not a triangular shaped aircraft and isn’t even a typical UFO as reported by witnesses to some.
 
The “object” (or creation) is almost unique and is only receiving all the current hype because David Clarke has put his usually skeptical views aside to dig into the matter. (We should ask why?)
 
Enjoy the current maelstrom and wait to see what further trans- pires.

The "photo" is getting the workover.

Contacting the two fellows who took the photo would go a long way to resolving whether it's authentic or a fake (which is, as usual, in UFO circles the "go-to" answer).
