Some readers here think humanity is simply wonderful….

 ....when in fact, humanity is (and has always been) tilted to the off-kilter side of existence. (Some call that “original sin.”)
 
All one has to do is watch newscasts or shows like ABC’s “Funniest Home Videos” or read postings like this from the UFO community on Facebook, not atypical but typical:

The bulk of humankind could be wiped from the Earth, as once happened according to the Noah flood episode in the Hebrew Bible or the remembrance in the Gilgamesh epic poem.

 
I’m not being hoity-toity – thinking I’d be saved, like Noah was.

Nope. We UFO enthusiasts are meat for a wrathful comeuppance by the gods, just as one imagines Trump followers or John Keel aficionados or football fans would be (or should be) taken from the face of the planet.
 
The idiocies of our species – homo sapiens – have reached a tipping-point, and is now being teased by various destructive wraths: floods, fires, epidemics, warring factions, ignorance of profound kinds, et cetera, et cetera.
 
The UFO crowd has always been iffy – sitting on a brink of psychopathology – and it seems to be coming to a head.
 
You may laugh at my screed here, but I can almost assure you, something bad is about to happen.
