It’s disturbing to say the least….

That persons I respect and who are, generally bright and intelligent, don’t get my notion and inclination to disrespect iconic UFO cases.
 
I like the old UFO episodes. They can tell us what UFOs are not.
 
But they can’t tell us what UFOs are.
 
The phenomenon is beyond comprehension or explanation via the recorded and often thorough examination of the reported or gathered information about them.
 
No UFO account, despite repeated review or examination, has given up an explanation as to what the account means.
 
Yes, there are patterns and details, many intriguing but not coming to any kind of conclusion, just rumination or hypotheticals.
 
And guesswork doesn’t count, hasn’t counted.
 
Suggesting that UFOs are extraterrestrial craft is imaginative but that’s it, nothing more.
 
All other suggestions – time-traveling vehicles, chariots of the gods, advanced aircraft of a hidden Earth species, holograms, new prototypes of some government agency here on Earth, et cetera, et cetera. – are just that, suggestions, sci-fi thinking or just non-thinking.
 
UFOs cannot be, and have not been, explained in over 70 years of butchered thinking and loony theories.
 
I place the blame on the UFO long-timers, the geezers. And those who don’t like my mischievous designation can go fly a kite, which is more attuned to their fetid, non-thinking.
 
The ongoing pigmy thought of my fellow UFO enthusiasts are not going to get a respite from me for their errant folly – it’s intellectually criminal.
 
And that a guy as smart as Bryan Sentes continues to kiss-ass, knowing I’m right about the failure of old-case scrutiny is sad and pathetic.
 
So, if you don’t like the UFO geezer sobriquet, tough cookies.

Smarten up; your foolish mentalities are an embarrassment to humankind.

Philosophy, for a UFO explanation? I don't think so....

The March 25, 2023 issue of New Scientist provides some notes on Stephen Hawking's final thoughts.

The piece by Hawking's close friend and collaborator, Tom Hertog ruminates on Hawking's thinking about the Universe: "The universe appears designed."

The article -- Why is the universe just right for life? [Page 39 ff.] -- is a must-read for those interested in Cosmology, physics, and UFOs.

A stand-out comment by Hawking makes my day, and provides a response to persons like Bryan Sentes and his philosophy babblers, in the Liminas gang:

Hertog asks, after Hawking writes, "Why is the universe the way it is?" "Isn't that a philosophical matter?"

Hawking replies, "Philosophy is dead."

Now, do I stick with Hawking or do I switch to the babblers that Sentes and others keep bringing forward -- the "philosophers of science"?

I'll stick with Hawking.

InterAmerica Syndication?

Many years ago we had a syndication service for media in Michigan and then Florida.

 
When we resettled in the MidWest and began our MediaWatch enterprise, we set aside the distribution of media material and ended up providing reportage and in- sider accounts to local news operations, as some of you know.
 
But I’m considering resuming a syndication network for just UFO material, in the hope of winnowing the crazy input that has taken hold of the phenomenon.
 
That is, we have access to a lot of news media operations – TV, the Press, Radio, etc.
 
We’re able to get material to outlets that would normally have to stumble across that material, haphazardly.
 
We’d operate out of Ann Arbor with a resource site in Indiana, where some of my RRRGroup continues to reside.
 
I’ll be approaching Ron Press to get involved – to vet material and “authors” – something he’s an expert at, to ferret the good from the bad and narrow the onslaught of foolishness that now hogs the UFO spotlight.
 
Our effort, as slight as it will start out to be, should get some at- tention, based on our credentials with news media already.
 
Eventually, we might have some influence, I think, when it comes to UFO output, presenting the crème de la crème of writing and ideas aside from the circus that now makes up Ufology and the UAP cadre of asses spewing nonsense.
