The direct and indirect link between the paranormal (UFOs for our purpose) and certain humans

Those following my Substack pages and accompanying blog know that I’m taking a hard tack at the Western god of The Hebrew Bible, The Christian Bible, and the Islamic Qur’an.
Aside from my asides on the homoeroticism and “insane” behavior of this god, Yahweh. there is theological slant that came from Martin Black who insists that any behavior of the Hebrew god derives from the actual Creator of mankind, and our reality, God, the Almighty: evils, madness, goodness, whatever.

A book I just ordered takes this view about God (I assume
the actual God):
"This book presents the reader with multiple examples of why, even if we accept Creationism's putative intelligent designer, any such entity can only be regarded as malevolent, designing ever-more ingenious ways to make life difficult for living things, including humans, for no other reason than the sheer pleasure of doing so. This putative creator has also given other creatures much better things like immune systems, eyesight and ability to regenerate limbs that it could have given to all its creation, including humans, but chose not to."
And then the February 6, 2023 New Yorker has a piece by Alex Ross about the canonized nun Hildegard of Bingen who lived, and had “religious” visions, in the period of 1130 A.D. [Page 24 ff.]
(The article was about her musical compositions.)
Just a few weeks ago I read a new synopsis about Joan of Arc [1412-1431] who also had visions and communication with divine entities and was canonized by The Church also.
This brings me to the research of Duke University’s Joseph Rhine whose studies were coined by him as parapsychology: ESP, Psycho- kinesis, Telepathy, and Clairvoyance.

Those studies were controversial and remain so to this day, but some UFO researchers have come to think that persons adept at such proclivities have some kind of connection with the other world, the parapsychological world (even the realm of the dead).
This takes me to the idea of a few UFO enthusiasts that persons who see UFOs or think they’ve encountered beings from elsewhere, including ghosts and extraterrestrial entities may be oriented by some distinct abilities – if you can call them that – that allow them to receive their visions or perceive these elements of the other realities that exist alongside the “normal” reality the rest of us are engaged in.
Looking at the accounts and records of those purporting to be alien “abducted” or assaulted by visions of this other reality rise above the suggestion of pathology or insanity, mild or otherwise.
The histories of Hildegard or Jeanne D’arc or the seemingly flawed records of J.B. Rhine read next to the many accounts of Rosales, Dennett, and Caravaca give vent to the possibility that some humans may be endowed with access to the other side, to the UFO enigma, or to experiences that lie outside what the rest of us call normalcy or reality.
We can’t be closed-minded about this…..that would be idiotic in the face of the apparent inkling of its actuality.
