Avi Loeb’s bias

I like Avi Loeb. He sticks his neck out to study the iffy (from a social standpoint) UFO phenomenon, much as John Mack did with his interest in the alleged ET abductions accounts.
 
That’s not easy for an academic. It generally is a career-killer. But there it is.
 
If I have a problem with Dr. Loeb it’s his leaning toward the extraterrestrial angle for UFOs; this from a guy who should know better from his expertise and schooling in astronomy and vast knowledge of the cosmos, with its forbidding ingredients for ET visitations.
 
Looking to grab a technically enhanced photo of a UFO, in space is the goal. This implies something ET-like it seems to me.
 
Everyone is looking for that one snapshot that tells us UFOs are spaceships, meaning that a photo showing something Earthian isn’t really a UFO, just an exotic aircraft causing a need for another photo “proving” the extraterrestrial hypothesis.
 
Jacques Vallee remains relevant, despite his recent stumble [Trinity] because he sees the UFO enigma for what it really seems to be: spurts of another reality, one superimposing itself on this planet and its sentient beings.
