Where are the “real” UFOs?

I get Google’s UFO “news-feed” and have a slew of links I
check for UFO goings-on.
For the very long time I’ve seen little or few reports of
UFO sightings that indicate there is a weird, interesting phenomenon
interacting with Earthlings: no cigar-shaped craft with windows or exuding
small saucer-shaped “things,” no metallic-like “saucers” landing in farms
fields, or roads, often shutting down automobile electronics and/or motors, no
odd craft landing near humans (witnesses) and interactively relating with them
or their activities, no near collisions or close flyby’s of military or
commercial aircraft.
(The recently disclosed videos of apparent UFOs captured by
military craft don’t count; the videos are non-descript and actually amorphous.)
Nope. There has not been anywhere near the reportage of UFOs
that once filled the coffers and imagination of UFO buffs so that the enigmatic
phenomenon offered a worthy batch of dialogue(s) in some circles.
So, have the ETs given up? Or have Earthlings come to their
senses and dispatched UFOs to the edge of their concerns, creating a dearth of
attention?
I think the phenomenon has run its course, like the tulip
mania of the early 1600s or the hula-hoop craze of the late 50s and 1960s.
