UFO buffs [ufologists] are struggling to remain relevant.

Attentive UFO followers see that UFO web-siters, bloggers, and writers are huffing and puffing to keep their postings in front of the diminishing UFO audience, me among them.

Every cockeyed idea is being pulled out of the anomalistic barn and applied to UFO venues.

But there is a subliminal, sub rosa awareness that UFOs as a meaningful topic in today’s hectic societies is delusional.

UFOs mean nothing to the great maw of humanity.

And UFOs for UFO buffs are so intellectually vapid that only the most tedious of ufologists remain attuned, trying mightily to hold UFO buffs’ interest.

We live in a small reality: on the Earth, about this Earth.

And within that small reality resides other (small) realities, things that apply only to humans on this planet.

This leave out the idea that humans should be concerned with ETs or UFOs that purportedly carry them here from their realities.

Then there is the idea that I like that we may be living in a matrix, but some think this isn’t the case:

That other realities abut this one (multiverses for instance) intrigue but really don’t impact our everyday reality, even though the elements of inter-dimensions may sometimes intrude and even account for (some) UFO sightings.

We, UFO buffs, should be thinking about our realities, what our being is all about, and UFOs may be in the mix but way down the line of things that should interest us and take up our time and thinking.

That members of the dying, virtually defunct UFO community (me among them) should refrain from hosting silly, esoteric explanations and detritus from and about UFO sightings, old and new should be the rule of a UFO buff's day.

Ufology is a perfunctory hobby. The ubiquitous ramblings within it tell us that.

Look at what is being touted as UFO information and “news”: it’s a panoply of crazy talk, silly ideas without merit or edification.

That is “ufology” is a stretch, a reach for purpose and meaning when underneath it all is a foundation of inexplicable observations (and very likely hallucination), then and now.

To keep flaunting excruciatingly perverse UFO speculations and details is an exercise in futility and madness.
