UFOs (today) are so unsexy!

I (and you too, I bet) remember when UFOs – flying saucers –
had sex appeal. They were sleek (no, not Adamski’s), in the movies (fictive)
and in real life, actuality. (Sorry, Zoam)
And those ETs that debarked from them were often, not
always, attractive: the Nordic types especially.
That was then, this is now: UFOs are just lights in the sky, or as Bryan Daum and a few others describe them, UAP. How dull.

Adamski’s Orthon was feminized, appealing to women and
homosexually inclined UFO buffs.
Other contactees, such as Orfeo Angelucci and Truman
Bethurum “encountered” handsome men and “beautiful” women, or so they said.
Truman Bethurum’s female ufonaut (Aura Rhanes):
No UFO witness today encounters anything. UFOs are ephemeral
phenomena or lights scurrying across the sky.
In This Island Earth, the visiting ET craft was almost
sleek, not as nifty as Klaatu’s ship, or as fizzy as Daniel Fry’s reported
sojourner:
Klaatu was the epitome of manhood, handsome, steadfast, and
virile, with a snazzy flying saucer:
Of course we find the mischievous imps who invaded some of
the European countries in the 50s, but they had a sexy patina too, in an obtuse
way. (The ships weren’t very advanced or sleek, quaint mostly.):
Our space ships (rockets) have always had a phallic
demeanor, which is the result of Freuds’ influence on the engineers of our time
and era; even today, Elon Musk is affected:
But UFOs today? Evanescent, amorphous, vapid.
