If alien [ET] abductions were real, would the process be as pitiful as it is?

UFO creatures are an advanced species, allegedly as most
ab- ductee fanciers see it.
But would a truly advanced alien species be taking humans for biological study that could never have anything to do with an off-Earth physiology, ETs evolving in biological ways necessarily [sic] different from humankind?
The idea of human kidnappings by ETs is ludicrous on the face of it, for several reasons, aside from that above.

One would be, that a history of humanity -- a curious, thoughtful analysis of that history by a supposedly advanced race of beings -- for a very long time -- would show that some humans are and have been anathema to human destiny.
[See Lecomte du Noüy’s Human Destiny for where I’m heading with this.]
Why would a highly advanced species – advanced in societal be- havior, science, medicine, and all the accoutrements of existence – not see the detrimental effect that some humans have or had on humankind?
And why wouldn’t an advanced species abduct (kidnap), in their stealthy way, those humans who, throughout human evolution and history, have disrupted or thwarted mankind’s movement toward its own advanced destiny?
Need I name the “culprits” – there are so many, whose names are on your lips as you’re reading this?
(And please, don’t offer the sci-fictional Star Trek Prime Directive as an excuse for my scenario as it would apply to the fictive ab- duction activity even more certainly.)
My point is that either the belabored ET abductors are not ad- vanced or even thoughtful, or their alleged activity is a warped integer in the human minds of those who promote or believe in such ludicrousness.
