What mental tools might help explain the UFO phenomenon?

Well, philosophy isn’t one.

Theoretical physics, psychology, neurology, math, engineering, meteorology, and a few other disciplines can be applied to a search for the UFO essence.

But philosophy? Not one whit.

Philosophy, despite its meanderings about consciousness, reality, free will, and all the rest of the academic flotsam that makes up philosophy is not helpful in the search for UFO meaning.

Sure, I often make reference to reality and consciousness here, but only as addenda to something more relevant.

Getting into a full-scale struggle with a philosopher about UFOs should be tempered by a reading of Aristophanes' parody about philosophers: The Clouds.

Philosophers are a little nutty. Their mental machinations don’t apply to the real world, much as the physicists’ domain doesn’t apply to the real world.

Yes, underneath physics and philosophy, as a subset to existence, reside elements of thought that might offer substance to what we are as humans.

But UFOs don’t need the conglomeration of philosophical or mathematical mish-mash of physics to muddy the waters.

UFOs are a phenomenon of mind or an engineering feat that will only be explained by a forensic-like approach or study of the mysterious things.

Philosophy, in all its attributes, does not help. It merely entangles the phenomenon in a welter of linguistic gymnastics and mental mischief/

So, when Christian Savia lambastes you with links to philosophical renditions about the paranormal via The Anomalist or my pal, Bryan Sentes tries to take you on a journey about free will, as you seek edification about UFOs (and humanoid encounters), run; run as fast as you can to resources that apply.

Philosophy is a mental killer. Treat it as such.
