Looking for (UFO) answers in all the wrong places
Copyright 2018, InterAmerica, Inc.
If you go to Kevin Randle’s blog [kevinrandle.blogspot.com]
or are a member of Gilles Fernandez’ Facebook page [UFO Pragmatism],
you’ll see that my pal Paul Dean is in a mini-brouhaha with Black Vault’s
John Greenewald and others about the U.S. Pentagon study of UFOs brought to the
surface by Tom deLonge recently.
I’m not following the kerfuffle closely enough to comment on
it but it seems to involve something about AATIP and a scientist who was part
of procedures to check ionization and debris from UFO encounters, among other
things.
The mess derives from FOIA requests and the accuracy (or
lack of it) in the accounts that Paul has put online.
This is where I departed from interest in the entanglements.
You see, no matter what the argument is about, it brings us
no closer to an explanation of UFOs, and shows how UFO acolytes get sidetracked
by peripheral aspects of the enigma.
What the “debate” does tell us is that the some military
personnel in the U.S. remain interested in UFOs, and that they appear to know
as little as we commoners do about the so-called phenomenon.
But UFO enthusiasts hoping for a disclosure denouemont will
be disappointed in the material uncovered or misunderstood by those absorbed by
the deLonge publicity.
There’s nothing there, there.
It’s the same old accumulation of weird or strange
accoutrements surrounding a UFO sighting.
Studies of alleged alien metals or odd equipment readings at
UFO “sites” tell us what?
That we have some peculiar metal fragments and bizarre
machine read-outs. That’s it.
The U.S. military is as inept and confused as UFO
researchers. No one has got a handle on the UFO mystery, and no one has
determined that UFOs are anything but a mystery.
Looking for answers in the deLonge or Pentagon coffers takes
us nowhere, as usual with UFO interest.
To get worked up, as Greenewald does, or Paul Dean, or
Gille’s Facebook members, or Kevin’s obtuse readers, shows me just how ignorant
we continue to be when it comes to dealing with this little UFO conundrum.
