The UFO enigma continues, unabated, but they are not ET craft

Ass much as I, and most UFO buffs want UFOs to be interplanetary ships from a civilization elsewhere in the universe, that seems unlikely to be the case:

Interstellar travel from an alien-thriving planet far away – and everything in the cosmos is far away – is almost insurmountable, time being a constraining factor.

Star systems, perhaps, with life-sustaining planets, are problematic. An example:

So, this trip would take 1.2 billion hours. There are 24 hours a day and 365.25 days per year, so this time in years is 137 thousand years.” [From Google]

Some enthusiastic UFO ETH advocates will posit worm-holes or other exotic means to thwart space-time or travel issues, and the possibility is not without sense.

But, again, I implore ETH proponents to consider the insignificant Earth, in the context of our own galaxy and the vast universe itself. We, aside from our imagined glories, are a pathetic creation, when one takes away our cultural wonders, which, to outsiders, are things without value or interest.

Moreover, I repeat, once again, that the supposed number of UFO sightings or reports mitigates the idea that another species would be spending so much time visiting or exploring here.

Again, in the context of all the tremendous sights and activities to behold in the unending universe, Earth is less than a footnote to creation.

Thus, it seems that all the bumbling speculations about what UFOs are have been totally meaningless.

Once the ETH is off the table, we are adrift in a welter of mundane possibilities.

This is why UFO buffs hang on to the ETH explanation. Without it, we have nothing worthy of speculation: a “mystery” that eludes because it may very well be a non-thing, that is, something without the merit we have given it.
