ETs and their lack of aesthetics or joy

I’ve touched on the lack of music, art, or literature evidence being observed by UFO witnesses who report (think) they’ve had contact with extraterrestrials.

Betty Hill almost absconded with an ET book when she and her husband Barney were allegedly kidnapped by aliens in 1961. (And while many decry her account, I give her the benefit of the “truth.” I wish she had been able to keep that book.)

Setting aside Mrs. Hill’s tale as an hallucinatory escapade, what about other so-called UFO encounters where ETs were interacted with or the inside of ET UFOs (flying saucers) were supposedly seen?

In every account I can recall (or look up), there is no account of music (as we know it), just some whirring noises and never a placard or work of art (as we know that too.)

That’s why the Socorro symbol/insignia fascinates me: if Officer Zamora’s craft was from outer space, that marking on it would be a sign of some kind of attempt to communicate via an ‘artistic” thrust.

But in all the accounts of flying saucers, fraudulent or “real,” there are no art works or music noted.

Does this mean that witnesses were devoid of recognizing something that might pass for music or art?

Or does it mean that ETs are lacking in aesthetic appreciation?

(Of course, I don’t think UFOs are ET craft in a movie film-generated way or that ETs are visiting or have visited Earth in the numbers, if at all, that UFO reports indicate.)

But, for the sake of argument, let me assume that ET believers have it right. Why don’t their ETs have visible or auditory aesthetic accoutrements about them?

Humans love to display indications of communication like symbols or, culturally, art and humans love to sing.

I recently cut the cable cord and find myself viewing lots of YouTube videos, even sharing a few myself on that Alphabet service. And I’ve discovered how joyful humans are. There is a “flash mob” from 2012 of Russians near the Volga, celebrating a wedding where the mob, bystanders and pros, including Army troops, dance to Puttin’ on the Ritz and there are dozens of people in flash mobs or just participating in the streets, dancing to the music from Zorba, the Greek (where Alan Bates and Anthony Quinn end the movie). And they are beyond joyful.

Has any UFO witness, even a “contactee,” seen ETs that evince joy?

There is something wrong in the witness accounts of extraterrestrial behavior. The alleged observed ETs are dour and without emotion, often interacting with humans like psychotics from the (human) id, which adds fuel to Jose Caravaca’s “external agent” in his elaborate Distortion Theory.

No, if ETs were actually visiting Earth and emotion was part of their psychical make-up, they would show joy or rapture at the beauty, diversity, and happiness of human beings.
