What many ufologists set aside….but shouldn’t

While UFOs are supposedly flying all over the place,
especially in Canada it seems, and have been for years, particularly after
1946, UFO enthusiasts haven’t zeroed in on who or what are flying the damn
things.
Aside from the Roswell fanatics, and their obsession with
the peripheral tales of dead aliens allegedly seen by Roswell’s area residents,
most UFO tales that capture the attention of ufologists (UFO enthusiasts) are odd
things seen in the skies.
We UFO buffs can all cite flying saucer reports that involve
weird things flying about, in the Earth’s skies, with no mention ever about who
or what is directing the things: Ken Arnold’s nine flying saucers, Gorman’s
dog-fighting disk, the Phoenix lights, the O’Hare object, and dozens of others,
none with a mention of “pilots.”
Even believers in the ETH are loath to consider who or what
may be controlling their favorite enigma.
But we have to assume that something or someone is in charge
of the seeming “vehicles” we call UFOs, even if those “vehicles” are directed
remotely.
In my obsessional gathering of humanoid encounters I am
struck by how diverse the hallucinatory accounts are: small beings, giants,
normal-sized (by human standards) entities, robotic-like creatures but all
within the realm of what one would expect from an evolutionary process unique
only to our Earth.
There have been few reports of entities, disembarking from
craft in the flying saucer category, that appear endowed with apparent
intelligence but having an appearance so far from what we know from our
experience of odd creatures on Earth that it would be a true alien.
That is, on Earth several creatures outside the human
species are heavily endowed with intelligence (octopuses, dolphins, crows,
chimpanzees, some insects, et cetera, and even some plants) but few
credible reports have ever presented witness testimony indicating that
something not with features like Earthlings or Earth’s various creatures have
come out of a craft’s trap door or portal.
And one would expect that an alien species would surely
differ in kind from what has emerged as the primary thinking species on this
planet: human beings.
Ufologists, generally, stick to the flying “objects” with
little or no nod as to what may be inside those objects.
But something has to be piloting UFOs and those things, if
they come from a planet elsewhere, have to evolved in ways totally different
from how we humans evolved or even how the strange thinking creatures mentioned
above evolved, dolphins, octopi, et al.
And ufologists have to consider those alien pilots, because
they are the real mystery amidst the UFO mystery, not their flying machines,
This means that we, as ruminators of UFO sightings, can discount
all the tales where a strange being has been reported, one with human traits
and configurations, size not being a real differentiation.
Even such oddities as the Flatwoods monster or the Socorro
coveralled beings or the Hopkinsville beings or John Keel’s Mothman can be
discounted as part of an alien invasion panoply. They are too similar to what
one might imagine an alien (ET) to look like.
And setting aside the consideration of the amorphous or
technical (machined) craft said to be UFOs, we have to come to some kind of
position about what is inside UFOs and if anyone has ever seen a real entity
come from a UFO, an entity not from the id but a bona fide entity,
without the trappings of an Earthling or an Earthling’s fantasy.
