Floaters, Robots, and Inter-Dimensional Intrusions?

I apologize for noting here, now, a few older UFO encounters
that caught my eye when I was perusing Ron Story’s edited Encyclopedia of
UFOs [Doubleday, 1980] mentioned here a few days ago.
On Page 246 ff. of the book, Walter N. Webb provided an
incident that occurred on the same day as the 1964 Socorro/Zamora sighting.
A 27 year-old farmer, Gary Wilcox allegedly had a two-hour
conversation with two space-suited “occupants” of a UFO, the entities saying
they were from Mars.
Gary Wilcox’s farm as in Newark Valley, New York and he was
spreading manure at 10 o’clock in the morning when a “bright flash of light”
caught his eye.
Deciding to investigate, he took his tractor up a hill and
found a “strange egg-shaped object” that was emitting the flashes of light.

A case from February 4, 1968 out of Redlands, California
(Page 299 ff.) is somewhat like the 1959 Reverend Gill sighting in that a
minister and about 200 residents saw or heard a saucer emitting a high-pitched
modulated whining sound, the saucer, from witness drawings, similar to the Gill
saucer.
A September 1964 encounter, in Cisco Grove, California, of
“robot-like” entities by a bow-and-arrow hunter, Donald Shrum, involved the
hunter, ensconced in a tree, shooting arrows at the humanoid creatures, that
belched a kind of vapor or smoke causing Shrum to lose consciousness
sporadically. (Pages 73-74 of Encyclopedia)

Also, a 1964 incident, in Conklin, New York (on Page 86 of
the Encyclopedia) tells of “five young boys” playing in an apple tree
saw a landed UFO and a “little humanoid perched in a nearby tree.”
The boys started throwing apples and stones at the creature,
that after emitting whistling sounds “fell stiffly backward out of the tree,
appearing to fall slowly, or to float down, into the bushes” seeming to crawl
away “toward the UFO.”
Walter Webb, who provided the account, noted that the
creatures in the 1955 Kelly-Hopkinsville, Kentucky assault, when shot, also
seemed to float to the ground rather than fall naturally.

For the “floaters” – creatures that descend like leaves
falling from a tree, not like a sack of rocks dropping with a thud – we have a
phenomenon that intrigues, whether it’s a real phenomenon or a mental
aberration.
The other humanoids and flying saucers/UFOs cited above are not
atypical; they are the core descriptions from many UFO witness reports and alleged
sightings.
But what causes such observations and supposed encounters?
I heard recently – and I can’t recall from where – someone
stating that there are many universes or dimensions and one should only be
concerned with the one they inhabit.
But I’m of the school that thinks UFOs could be an intrusive
phenomenon from another dimension, a purposeful or inadvertent phenomenon that
pops into (and out of) our reality.
(And sometimes, humans pop out of our reality into another
reality, another dimension; e.g., Judge Crater, Ambrose Bierce, Amelia Earhart,
and countless other persons who go missing, never to be heard from again.
But why are UFOs and odd humanoids able to shift their
locales from their dimension to ours and back to their own dimension but we
can’t go from here to there and return?
Have the “residents” (species) from another dimension – one
that abuts ours – discovered a method of moving inter-dimensionally? Are the
“creatures” AI robots that have advanced beyond their singularity, allowing
them to scoot between realities, dimensions?
The often described “disappearance of UFOs and/or creatures
associated with them just do suddenly go away or seem to.
Also, in the sightings (encounters) noted above, the
phenomena behave erratically but not so bizarrely that they are not
recognizable as completely alien, just strange, meaning that he dimension they
inhabit or come from has formed or been created much as Earth and we have been.
Dimensions adjacent to one another elsewhere in the cosmos
may very well be so different from ours that we couldn’t recognize it as
something real, but, for the inhabitants of those dimensions, they see each
other as like species, brothers (and sisters) as it were.
This is where the “only be concerned with your dimension”
suggestion applies. Other dimensions far from ours would have no meaning for us,
or we for them.
So, as the au courant “advice” making the rounds
nowadays proffers -- “Stay in your lane” -- is not a millennial swipe but a
course of inaction that makes sense to us, but apparently not to the “beings”
associated with UFOs.
