An odd two-man UFO crew?

This came from Paul Dean (who obtained it, I think, from Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos' splendid catalog of UFO sightings):

Again an early [1938] account related much later [1971] which compromises credibility but conforms to Jacques Derrida's "truth in fiction" theories.

What fascinates me is that this is one of those UFO tales where, apparently, occupants (crew?) are spotted outside the supposed craft while in flight: dangerous and weird for air-travel. no matter from where such travelers come.
