UFOs: The Government Files by Peter Brookesmith

Copyright 2018, InterAmerica, Inc.

This book by Peter Brookesmith [Barnes & Noble, NY, 1996] is a testament to objective journalism/writing and a suggested read for some visitors here:
Various alleged iconic UFO incidents (and photos) are subjected to withering realities, which should curb the wild-eyed enthusiasm of ETH advocates.

Roswell, Aztec, Socorro, Cash/Landrum and others are either dismissed or viewed with an open mind.

Documents and minute details not often presented when these UFO cases are discussed among the supposed ufological cognoscenti are aplenty.

These symbols are pictured on page 118 and have nothing to do with Socorro but, instead, are said (the inverted V with lines through it) to be the symbol of the infamous Trilateral Commission, the secret, one-world organization and (the tee-pee like symbol) a symbol often found on alleged alien craft and/or uniforms:
You can, very likely, find this book at various book centers/stores, in the remainder bin.

It’s a worthy addition to personal libraries where unbiased, neutral texts reside.

MJ Banias

This is photo of my Facebook pal MJ Banias, who has a chapter in Robbie Graham's book UFOs: Reframing the Debate....
MJ had this on Facebook, touting some recognition for his portion of Robbie's book.

What interests me -- the book doesn't (sorry MJ and Robbie) -- is MJ's "selfie."

It reminded me of a portrait by a famous painter, but damned if I can recall or find that painter and his portrait of MJ's doppelganger.

I've scoured Google's "Image Search" and looked through my rather hefty library of art books: nada.

Anyone have an idea who the painter may have been or anything relevant?
