The 1953 Kingman, Arizona UFO Crash

Glancing through Albert Rosales’ 1950-1954 Volume of Human Encounters I found a marker on Page 158 highlighting the alleged May 21, 1953 UFO crash with recovered extraterrestrial crew members.

I’m not particularly familiar with the supposed event but know it’s considered by many ufologists as a bogus story, Kevin Randle giving it a review for his blog in 2011:

I scoured the internet and found a number of sites dealing with the “event” and noticed a couple of dissonances right off the bat; this from http://www.openminds.tv/kingman-ufo-crash/3324

“A discrepancy exists regarding the configuration of the craft, due to the fact that some reports indicate that it may have been oval or “cigar” shaped” [instead of saucer-shaped].

And this from a reading of the Rosales’ listing:

“ … another member of the team [“specialists” taken to the site] looked inside and saw two swivel seats … and ‘a lot of instruments and displays.’” [Page 158]

Some of the alien crew (that contained a female) “apparently escaped from the crash site” and were confronted, when found in the desert, where the aliens “used beam weapons against the retrieval team … and were caught only after the charges in their weapons were expended.” [op. cit. Page 158]

While Kevin dispenses with the so-called crash using substantial facts, the dissonances provide us with caveats right out of the gate:

The two descriptions of the crash: that it was disk shaped or maybe oval/cigar-shaped

That it had two swivel seats and instruments like that one would find on Earth in the time-frame, not something that an advanced alien species would be using.

And “beam weapons” common to Sci-Fi aliens, the “advanced” Kingman aliens using weapons that became depleted rather quickly it seems.

(The sci-fi like accounts resemble those employed by the Alien Astronaut crowd who insist that some figurines they say are representations of what early man saw: ancient aliens wearing NASA-like uniforms and gear like that used by Earth’s astronauts in 1968.)

The Kingman UFO story is juicy, I grant you but patently a contrived tale that we UFO buffs can discard as representing reality.
