UFO Conjectures

The non-UFO holiday weekend….for me

The U of M people were guests of my son at the lake home for the July 4th holi- day weekend.

They enjoyed the fireworks, the food, the boat, even some swim- ming. But I could not get a word out of them about UFOs (or even UAP).

Like a Pulitzer Prize winning New York TIMES friend of mine, the U of M academics could not care less about UFOs or David Grusch or anything related.

Media people (and Facebook friends) in Fort Wayne are like that also, more interested in mundane things like their fireworks demonstrations, their boring Midwest foods, and the stories of common folk activities.

I told the story, from a video I put online here, about a couple seeing UFO beings capturing a cow – the fear in the cow’s eyes – and the floating of the creature into their ship.

I emphasized the apparent trauma experienced by a sentient animal. Even my closest friend from a farm family was not reactive to my account. (Am I that bad of a storyteller?)

The conversations of the weekend included upsets about the badness of Twitter --(Zuckerberg’s new Twitter replacement – Threads – hadn’t hit mainstreams news media yet, doing so on Wednesday 7/5.) – the psychedelic resurgence, the elimination of the Big Bang Theory, and a diminution of college tenures lately.

Nothing about UFOs and I was the host primer for their holiday “madness” – rude, yes?

Well, it has become obvious that mainstream media and the public, generally, are not paying attention to the David Grusch adornment of the alien -- non-human – element inserting itself into U.S. mili- tary and even some Congressional mind-sets.

No one cares. Not even most of the UFO crowd, (See lack of res- ponse here or at Reddit and many Twitter cubicles that deal with the phenomenon.)

I have a psychological insight about why, but won’t bore you with it.

Anyway, Grusch and his exposé of the – let’s say it – U.S. govern- ment’s “Deep State – is too much, even for those mooching a holi- day freebie or a dip into conjecture by those I thought would be thrilled to discuss the matter, here or anywhere.

Maybe, I need a reset of interests, Let’s see…..the obsession with diversity by news agencies? The pursuit of “happiness” by the great unwashed? The banality of sports? The corruption of capitalism by its adherents? The coming of a Midwest conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors…hmmmm.

So many worldly topics to consider…but none as important, as I see it, as that put forward by David Grusch, whether true or psychopa- thically endowed.
