Old Art that indicates something, but what?

The article posits the idea that the images seem to show an extraterrestrial presence in ancient times, but that is the Ancient Astronaut/Ancient Alien thesis and discounted by me, but not an irrational thesis necessarily.
In the Egyptian cravings that seem to show a helicopter and advanced aircraft, one finds something profoundly amiss.
If it's true that science says the drawings are "typos" (as the news blurb suggests), one can see why AA acolytes pooh-pooh such nonsense. There are no significant "typos" in such carvings. Science is loony.
But is there a possibility that the carving is a sophisticated hoax? Maybe. What's the provenance of the carving?
Is the "news piece" fake news? Perhaps.
Readers, here, who are gung-ho about the AA theories, have to be careful in accepting conclusions that are contrived by media that wishes to sensationalize rather than provide truth.
But one can see how gullible persons can easily adopt an ancient alien stance after seeing something like the images provided in the news blurb linked above.
