(The asteroid, meteor, comet explosions don’t fit; there are no shards or remnants indicating any natural impact, and a comet wouldn’t produce such devastating destruction predicated on a comet’s substances. The Black Hole suggestion is farther out than the idea of a doomed spacecraft.)
I’m not adverse to ET visitations, despite what some think. I am against the wholesale visitations of extraterrestrials that reports and sightings suggest.
But a one-time or occasional visitation is feasible, even when it’s obvious that visitors would be hard put to seek out or find this petty planet among all the possible, more interesting cosmological venues available to explorationally inclined species.

I do remain averse to publisizing old or iconic UFO accounts (Roswell, Socorro, Phoenix, etc.)
But do, as you’ve noticed, find odd, little know anecdotal-like stories by people who’ve had a weird UFO experience.
The reports I note here usually come from common folk who relay their happenings with trepidation or zeal while presenting an honest, credible account.
This is different from the abduction “fictions” swarming podcasts, books, and online presentations nowadays.
For those schooled in psychology, the varying kinds of mental pathology are many, some labeled severe while others merely neurotic or mildly askew.
One-time noted (and disparaged) psychiatrist Thomas Szasz deplored the mental categories citing those distressed as mentally ill or insane.
Persons, today allowing that they were abducted or kidnapped by extraterrestrials or UFO beings generally suffer from a delusional quagmire brought on by various mental (neurological) mechanisms gone awry or, in some instances, a need for attention.
Such persons use UFO victimization to grab attention much like internet influencers who engage in outrageous behavior and antics for attention.
I avoid grabbing such accounts for listing here or elsewhere. But I do like to present normal individuals offering their bizarre episodes with hallmarks of alarm or terror and mostly befuddlement.
Such representations highlight neither a kind of moderate insanity (delusion) or an overt truth about UFOs that is (and always has been) hidden or disguised by the quirky or divisionary display of the phenomenon.

This would have been millions or even billions of years ago.
There have been too many found odd, tangible remnants along with elements of the human collective consciousness (of Jung’s consideration) or Julian Jaynes’ considerations for primitive man- kind’s thinking – more on this upcoming.
I know that some of this has a fringe or nutty ambiance about it, but there it is …
