Ufology's Badvertising
While grabbing the Google link for the 1970 Finland encounter (in the post below this one), I was put off by the advertising inserted throughout the piece.
My pal Bryan Sentes has a brilliant UFO web-site [https://skunkworksblogdotcom.wordpress.com/] also marred by advertising, because it's a Wordpress "freebie."
Frank Warren's The UFO Chronicles web-site is a hodge-podge of advertising clutter. And there are a number of other UFO sites and blogs amess with ads, mostly of a vulgar (in the defined sense) kind.
The phenomenon is already a laughing stock to sophisticates and foisting upon the topic deplorable ads merely exacerbates the patina of low-quality thinking that suffuses it.
I suggest if a person needs to use a free site, offered with a requirement to contain ads or a person hopes to grab a few ad pennies even if such grabbing besmirches their message, that they get out of the UFO business.
