recent encounter with Varginha type creature:

Location: Jardim Carvalho, Ponta Grossa, Parana, Brazil

Date: April 11 2022 Time: 5:45 a.m.

In the vicinity of Arroio Pilao de Pedra, the witness, Dona Marisa reported that around 5:45 a.m., when she opened the door of her house, she saw someone under a nearby lemon tree. At first she thought it was someone trying to pick some lemons. Then she approached and saw that it was something different. She said she saw a creature, with three lumps on its head, red eyes, no hair and no clothes, its skin was brown in color and appeared to be ‘oily.’ It had hands with three fingers, which she thinks measured seven centimeters and had membranes. The being was very thin, she noticed that it had two long legs and the feet were small, and proportional in size to the hands, also presenting membranes between the toes. Its height was approximately one and a half meters, and when moving, it presented flexibility in its movements, but did not walk upright like humans. There was a strong odor, which she said was like bleach or something similar.

Startled, Marissa walked away from the creature as it walked towards the rear of the yard towards the street in the back of the house and disappeared. On two occasions, unknown secretions were collected from tree leaves, and light footprints on the soil and other marks were recorded at other times. In some cases, the presence of a strong odor was recorded, resembling bleach, and in another case, a strong smell of ammonia, where it was possible to identify the odor with certainty.

Samples were also collected from the soil where the creature stood, were analyzed and showed distortions in relation to normality. Also identified were the presence of old concrete structures at the bottom of the valley, which may have been used as sewage storage. Research indicates that the area of Ponta Grossa has many underground tunnels that could be serving as a shelter for unknown or extraterrestrial creatures.

Comments: The similarity with the Varginha creatures is amazing.

Márcio Cunha Parussini

Good afternoon my friend. The case of Ponta Grossa unfortunately did not exist. An elderly person saw a monkey (here called Bugio) and profiteers invented a story to have their 15 minutes of fame. Unfortunately the lie is about to become a truth. As you can see, even the people of UFO magazine have embarked on this fraud.

The patterns in UFO encounter cases, especially one, are benign

While I might interject the “fairy tale” elements in the Rosales/Caravaca/Dennett litanies of persons allegedly stumbling upon or being greeted by supposed alien [ET] humanoids, the one thing that pops up, pronouncedly – and is noted by Tony Bragalia specifically – is the lack of trauma during the supposed encounters and/or their aftermath.

How is it that such exquisite engagements are reported, usually, in tranquil, even, folksy ways, without the expected hysteria that one would expect such meetings would entail?

Although some anxiety or dread is reported, it remains tethered to a mild happenstance, similar to the fright experienced after a horror movie or television drama: everyone enjoys a moment of relief, knowing what they just saw or felt was a heightened moment of tepid dread, now gone, suppressed to memory, maybe, if the theatrical account was presented entertainingly and imaginatively.

This is the same result with those encountering a weird situation, or even an alleged UFO abduction: there is no trauma, temporary or long-lasting.

It’s all a “happening: -- one that is often recalled with ease and sometimes finite detail but no trauma, or residue of trauma, as some veterans experience after a wartime event.

Nope, the patterns discovered in UFO encounters are almost universally benign and presented as a memory of a special occasion, like a wedding or birthday party.

There’s no there there.

James Easton adds info to the Pascagoula event: HIckson's second encounter with the original beings

PASCAGOULA: NEW REVELATIONS - PART 2
The timeline of events involving Charles Hickson solely, is now much clearer.
In 'UFO Contact at Pascagoula', co-authored with William Mendez, we read of Hickson's second 'close encounter, evidently with the same beings:
THE TREE FARM
January 1974
Many things happened between October 1973 and January 19745 that was changing my life. The news-people were still wanting interviews at different times; freelance writers were constantly on me, curious people just travelling through, national TV talk shows and telephone interviews on radio stations all over the country. I had to get away-if not but just one day. Hunting season was in and I had a new shotgun to try out. Eddie had given it to me for Father’s Day: a 1100 series Remington Automatic. There’s not much area in Gautier for hunting, but I’m fortunate in having a good friend who manages a tree farm with over seven hundred acres where there is small game: squirrels, rabbits, quail and ducks. Being reared on a farm where small game was in abundance, I learned a long time ago that squirrels make a fine stew. After discussing it with Blanche, I asked Sheila and Kenny (Charlie’s daughter and son-in-law) to carry me by my car to the far side of the tree farm. I would hunt all way across it and spend almost all day alone, hunting squirrels and upon reaching the other side of the wooded area I would walk home-only a short ways. Even though everyone agreed, I could sense they didn’t want me to go alone. “Honey, remember back to many times I have hunted and fished alone in almost remote areas-and always returned safe and sound? I need some time by myself and there’s the possibility of a squirrel stew tomorrow.” Blanche started packing a lunch and it wasn’t long before I was on my way. Just the idea of the day ahead seemed to relax me.
Upon leaving the car I crossed a bayou and was moving across the rolling hills. This was my thing, out among nature where only God could create such beauty. And to think us humans, whom he trusted with it, are destroying it with waste and pollution. I couldn’t help but wonder how much longer it would be before that particular area would be wasteland. No matter, I would thoroughly enjoy this day. I have kept my body in good physical shape and even though the terrain was rough, I was moving along like a 21 year-old soldier who was on a recon patrol in Korea 22 years ago-only now I was hunting small game and enjoying every minute of it. I had been on this tree farm many times before. After the terrible hurricane Camille a few years back I had worked here part-time when I was away from the shipyard, helping restore it. It all still looked familiar to me. I reached the hillside dotted with acorn and hickory nut trees where I would sit down, enjoy a sandwich and then wait for my tomorrow’s stew to start moving around me.
The shotgun was lying across my lap. I had just topped off the sandwich with an orange when it dawned on me that I hadn’t seen any movement at all around me-not even any birds, that seemed real strange. I saw it then, the same craft Calvin and me had seen before, about twenty five yards away in a small clearing, hovering above the ground. Before I could even think a ‘radio’ seemed to have come on in my mind:
“We mean you no harm. We mean no one any harm. You may communicate with us later. You have endured. You have been chosen. There is no need for fear, we will communicate again.”
The ‘radio’ was turned off, the craft was gone, I had not moved. The shotgun was still lying across my lap. I seemed to be relieved of a terrible strain, here in the middle of a seven hundred acre wooded area, alone, the fear had been taken away; it must be for a reason. I won’t tell anyone for a long time, except Blanche, she will understand and I know now I must let everyone know some way that they are up there and they mean us no harm, that possibly they can help us ion the future. Since that day I have felt obliged to go to many places I have been and tell what happened to Calvin and me and to help write this book, hoping it might someway prepare the people of our world for the things that will come in the future.

The difficulty with setting this detailed account in context, is that the book was not published until 1983.
Although Hickson had made references to it, these were sporadic and it seemed uncertain when we could establish the story first surfaced.
Following a new discovery, it can be confirmed that one incarnation of the incident, is mentioned in a newspaper column feature, 'Follow-Up To The News' dated 17 June, 1974 and published by 'The Columbia Record' (Columbia, South Carolina):
Just before Halloween last year, Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker claim they were plucked from the banks of the Pascagoula (Miss.) river by a craft from outer space.
[...]
Parker has since left Pascagoula, but Hickson is still there
Two months ago, Hickson and Murphy Givens, a reporter for the Mississippi Press- Register in Pascagoula, went out to the river to fish and have a few drinks. After Hickson had enjoyed a little "Jack Daniels," he told Givens of an experience he had with some space creatures since October.
Hickson said he was sitting in the top of a tree squirrel hunting when a group of space creatures appeared and tried to communicate with him. He said they didn't take him aboard their craft this time. but they did try to make his mind go blank.
(End)
'Two months ago', would place Hickson's documented telling of the story as existing in April, 1974.
Consequently, it would appear to establish that, so far as Hickson is concerned, we are no longer dealing with a single event and an entirely different perspective.
It is well-known that eventually Hickson concluded he was something akin to an apostle and one of twelve designated to 'spread the word':
'The Sun' (Biloxi, Mississippi)
12 October, 1981
'There are people from other worlds'
Hickson says Parker will not be one of the "chosen 12"-all of whom have supposedly had contact with unidentified flying objects but that he could have been. "... The beings that were controlling those robots tried to contact Calvin through his mind" but it didn't work out, Hickson says. "So Calvin's not one of the 12. He knows that now. They don't bother him anymore."
Hickson won't say when he was contacted, but says the revelations also have helped him cope with the ordeal. "Since this has been revealed to me," he says, "it's eased my mind. I can go ahead with my everyday work, be with my family and not worry about those things. I know what's going to happen now, so that burden is off of my mind."
(End)

Does that compromise the entire case...
Perhaps the proverbial 'yes & no' applies.
It certainly doesn't help, though.
My personal conclusion is that this aftermath has to be separated from our original incident and could easily be explained by a combination of various factors.
Shall leave that for another day.
Anyway, glad that's all been sorted and things much more straightforward now. 🙂
Incidentally, Hickson and Mendez's book features the following sketch, clsimed to be from the original Sheriff department statements.
If so, this is significant evidence how despite statedly having, at that time, no recollection of events between encountering the entities, until becoming conscious again, standing on the jetty, Calvin Parker could still corroborate witnessing a tangible, enigmatic vehicle being present.
May be an image of text that says 'Fig 16: Calvin Parker's sketch made on the police report sheet on October 11, 1973'
